Assessed Skills is not in SOL

Hello po.

Ask ko lang po kung pwede pa ring i-submit ang applicaiton for state nomination kung wala sa State Occupation List ang skill code na na-assess?

Anu po ba ang nararapat gawin sa mga ganitong scenario?

@barnakol - kung wala sa SNOL - State Nomination Occupation list ang occupation mo, pero nasa SOL/CSOL (overall list ng DIAC), you can still apply sa state kung meron silang "OFF-LIST NOMINATION"...

normally may mga additional criteria sila sa mga off-list, like higher IELTS, more work experience.. or sometimes kailangan nag-aral sa AU.. you can check the OFF-LIST requirements on the each state..

i enquired before sa WA and SA, mga bandang May, pero sabi nila closed na daw kasi nga matatapos na ang program year by June. so normally available ang mga slots pagopen ng program year by Jul1.

Tiningnan ko dati sa WA yang off-list requirements, masyadong maraming kelangang i-meet na requirements.

In fairness kung wala sa SOL yung trabaho niyo, it should be in the CSOL, which the state sponsorship follows....it's a veeerry broad list of occupation.

@Barnakol.. Network and Systems Engineer ba yung occupation na napa assess mo? Parang nakita ko yan sa SOL visa 189, which does not require state sponsorship.. Yun kasi ung target kong i pa assess before...

yun ang in-apply ko (Network and Systems Engineer) pero yung binigay saken wala sa SOL ng Melbourne(ICT Support Engineer). Iniisip ko tuloy magpareassess.

@barnakol, check mo na lang ang SOL tapos hanap ka ng occupation na medyo pareho sa ginagawa mo ngayon...may mga common responsibilities naman sa bawat trabaho...baka maging pabor sayo yun

As per subject of the thread, assessed skills is not under SOL hence ineligible for 189 visa...

so ang problem, wala sa SOL ang nominated occupation nya: ICT SUPPORT ENGINEER
nasa CSOL Sched 2 naman.. kaya pwede sana ang SS..
kaso mukhang walang State na available pa ang sponsorship sa occupation na yan..

So ang option nga;
1. Off-list nomination sa mga state, walang masamang i-try ito..
2. Magpa-re-assess ng bagong occupation.. i don't kung anung impact nito kung same ACS ka rin magpa-assess..

check mo for example: ICT Customer Support Officer-313112-TRA
-before you proceed double check kung nasa SNOL eto ng mga state..

Hmmn.. feeling ko po kasi hindi nila nagustuhan ang mga WORDINGS sa mga sinubmit kong Employment Certificates.

Compared sa mga guide job description na ine-expect nila, very specific po kasi ang mga job details sa mga sinubmit ko.

So I'm wondering if magpare-assess ako at magsubmit ng mga Certificate of Employment na naka-align naman sa guide nila, OK po kaya itong move na ito?

Try nyo po iayon yung job experience nyo sa isang nominated occupation na nasa sol. Or worse comes to worst, get some credits here through training para magqualify kau.

Hi Barnakol,

nanghihinayang ako sa IELTS mo and skills assessment.

Ganito gawin mo. Tailor your Reference Letter into Network Systems Engineer occupation or any ICT job included in SOL1.

I-download mo ang job description ng Network Systems Engineer from Australian ICT industries, then i-reword mo na lang sya at papirmahin mo ang imeediate supervisor mo.

Napaka- ambiguous ng job descriptions ng mga ICT occupations kaya pwede mo syang i-tailor from one job to the other. Yes ACS case officers do accept Re-assessment with new EVIDENCE or NEW DOCUMENT to support your claim.

Trust me.

question lang po. if i submit po an updated certificate of employment na naka-align or worded according sa job description na gusto nila... di po ba parang fraudulent ang dating nun kasi binago ko yung content?

@barnakol, I think it's not being fraudulent kasi dadaan naman sa skills assessment yang idedeclare mo, kaya pag-aaralan nila yung mga pinasa mo hehe...it's more of aligning what you do with what's on paper

as i have said, ICT Job descriptions are ambiguous, programmers do analyse, as network engineers do some scriptings or codings which can be classified as programming job. Systems Analyst and business analyst have so many things in common, so as programmer/analysts. You can amend job duties from time to time. ACS are aware that reference letters are amenable especially in the first instance.

Even when you get here, recruiters will advise you to tailor your CV depending on the advertised role you are interested in.

I got 2 positive skills assessment anyway. Computing Professional - Data Warehousing (old ASCO) and Systems Analyst.

Fraud is different from tailor. (tingnan mo espeling nila magka-iba) heheheeh patawa lang.

Sana hindi OT tanong ko pero has anyone tried getting two separate skills assessed?

@barnakol, I agree with them, yung sa akin ni pattern ko rin sa roles and responsibilities na nakalagay sa ANZCO then ni tailor fit ko sa duties ko. Some of the assessor will call your declared company to check if those statement were true. Pag hindi, I think dun lang magiging fraud

Im pretty sure, before your manager or HR sign your documents they will counter check it, this is good too so they won't be suprise pag tinawagan sila and makaranig ng something na di sila aware di ba...

It also helps to contact your HR or reference persons before the assessor starts calling them up hehe...not to lie of course, but so that they know what to say.

COMPLICATIONS!

Paging @adelaide_boi @lokijr and the rest of pinoyau experts: need your advises again.

there's been some complicated developments... my current company applied for a 457 visa for me dahil may assignment po ako dyan sa Oz for a few months. As we all know, this is a temporary visa with 4years validity.

Question ko po, can I still pursue yung Permanent Resident visa kung me existing na akong 457 visa? Cyempre po mas prefer ko yung Permanent. Inaalala ko lang baka mabalewala yung mga in-effort kong mga papers dahil dito.

@barnakol oo nmn.. Pwdeng pwde.. Mas may addiitional points ka nga for employment within australia.. Plus you know have other options for PR, either thru employer aftr certain years or apply by yourself thru eoi/skillselect..

there are two options i believe, check mo yung threadng ENS na PR...

a) nag-apply sila ng PR under Employer, pero hindi na sila naghintay ng 2 years..
yung nga lang sila din gumastos lahat..

okay na rin ito, kasi atleast nasa AU kana under 457, tapos nagwowork at earning kana while your PR is under processing.. maning-mani lang siguro ang 3090aud sa salary mo.


b) the other one is yun nga you will wait for your employer to process your PR kung magustuhan ka nila..

@barnakol kunin niyo na po yan...hindi mahirap yung transition to PR kung 457....worst case scenario na yung mawalan ka ng trabaho tapos wala kang mahanap ng employer na magtutuloy ng 457 niyo...pero bihira naman yung ganun mangyari

ok po. baka isipin ng mga tao dito nag-iinarte pa ko, eh mahirap-hirap din makakuha ng 457 visa. hehe. swirti swirti rin laang talaga yaan.

as per my EOI submission, qualified naman na po ako sa ENS. so malamang yun na po ang aasikasuhin ko once settled napo ako dyan.

pag me nakasalubong po kayo na kahawig ni Chitae(Rene Requiestas) na naglalakad sa mga streets ng Melbourne, wag po kayo matakot... ako pu yun! sana batiin nyo po ako.

congrats on your employment offer sir.. ayos na ayos..

just make sure na kung mag-apply ka ng PR under the point tested visa, eh within validity period pa ng mga assessment at IELTS mo..

pero kung under employer PR ka naman.. i think hindi na kailangan yun..if you are working currently under them..

naisip ko lang.. hehe.. im not sure kung tama ako..
