hi guys! i need some advice on this topic. i'm married and have a 5-year old kid. which is a better decision ba? should we go together or not yet? i'm starting with the process pa lang so i have time to decide pa. please share your experiences and insights naman o. thanks!

    visa fee for individual or with family is the same... so looking at visa fee.. mas ok kung kasama mo na ang family mo sa application...

    kasama ko wife ko and my 1.5 year old baby boy on my visa application. though sabi nga nila mahirap, pero kelangan ko sila dun eh. sanayan lang din siguro. sa una lang mahirap.

    @Yukishih how old baby mo sis? ang husband ko kasi parang ayaw pa talaga umalis sa work kasi hinihintay nya ang 15 yrs na compensation. ang prob ko, baka mahirapan ako kung daldalhin ko anak ko. syempre, mag-aaral na rin sya.

    @multitasking malaki rin ang kelangan kasi i have to pay na agad for their insurance. tapos, tuition pa ng anak ko.

    imho cross the bridge when you get there...
    start the process first, then decide later on...

    papi @icebreaker1928 -student visa yata si @iheartoz...
    kaya kailangan nyang mag-decide sa umpisa pa lang ng application..
    dun naka-depende ang mga show money, insurance cost etc..

    @iheartoz
    kayo pa rin po ang makakasagot nyan... depende sa budget nyo..
    put everything in an excel file, tabulate/compute kayo ng expenses monthly..
    dun malalaman nyo kung kaya nyo ba..

    kung hindi problema ang pera..
    alam nyo na ang sagot.. ;)

    @icebreaker1928 tama si @lock_code2004, student kasi ako pagpunta dun. i just want to know kung advantage ba o disadvantage na kasama family. some say kasi na mas ok pag dalawa kayo na nagtatrabaho. validate ko lang kung true ba. kung it outweighs the disadvantanges.

    @iheartoz mag 3y/o this april. May relatives ka ba dito? Kapag kayo lang dalawa mahirapan ka talaga. Ako andito pa ang brother ko pero ang hirap. Ang childcare ang mahal! Si hubby ayoko din paalisin sa work pa kasi di pa naman sure ang status dito. San work si hubby mo?

    @Yukishih hehe. i think sa mga sinabi mo, parang di pa nga talaga pwedeng sumabay ang family ko. i'll be living with my bro. nasa aus sya. initially, sya magbabayd ng tuition ko. after that, kami2x na lang. so i think mahirap talaga kasi nag-aaral na anak ko e.

    ang laking gastos pag isasama mo agad family mo..

    much better na ikaw muna, opinion ko lang naman po...

    don't know your history... ask ko lang, why go for student?
    hindi ba kayo pwede dumiretso as migrant?

    much easier path if you are qualified naman.

    @icebreaker1928 nurse ako without any experience. second course ko yan. first course ko, accountancy pero yung work experience ko, not relevant. so technically, no experience ako on both courses. i haven't tried checking pero i think, kukulangin ako sa points.

    @iheartoz ahh accountant po kayo dati? why not pursue that instead? Kukuha lang kayo ng extra units para ma-accredit yung skills niyo then puwede na kayo magtrabaho full time...mas mabilis ROI niyo dun kesa magstudent visa :)

    tama inspired ka pa kasi andyan sila lagi, sa umpisa lang naman daw mahirap eh. baka mamaya mahome sick ka pa. :)

    @LokiJr graduate lang ng accountancy pero work ko, not related to it. connected ako sa GOCC since graduation. studied nursing while working. nacurious ako sa sinabi mo. what do you mean, magtake lang ng units? anong units?

    @iheartoz in contrast sa sinabi ni loki... mas maganda mag nurse sa AU...hindi pa apektado ng kahit anong recession at shortage ang nurse dito...
    after a year pwede ka na magwork sa hospital, pero syempre dapat within the allowed number of hours...

    ask Rommel1982... dati din syang accountant na nag-aaral ng nursing ngayon...

    o ayan lalo gumulo utak mo hehehe :D
