Hello, We received visa grant last march on sub class 190 (state sponsor) I'm planning to go at ACT in sept 25. however, I'm looking for temp accommodation (hotel)and it is very expensive. do you know any rooms for rent in canberra? sana po pinoy kasama sa house. Thanks po

Hingi po sana ng advice sa mga dumaan sa SS-ACT. I just got my IELTS result and planning to get a remark. Possible pa rin po ba ma invite kahit di nakakuha ng 7 in all bands? May iba pa po bang options other than retake? Thanks po in advanced.

@Tutik, here's what it says about english requirements in ACT nomination:

*from ACT nomination Guidelines*
English language ability: You must either
♦ hold a passport from the United Kingdom; Canada; New Zealand; United States of America; Republic of Ireland;
or
♦ for all other passport holders, have a:
− current IELTS result with a minimum score 7 in speaking and 7 overall; or
− current OET result with a minimum grade B in all sections.
− If a higher level of English is an additional nomination condition on the SMP Occupation List: an IELTS result with the required English ability.
− if the occupation is verified as ‘limited’ or ‘off list’: an IELTS result with a minimum score of 8 in speaking and 8 overall is required.

@ronaldo09 , congrats mate!..welcome to Canberra..halos lahat ng suburb kc d2 may school, so it depends on where you want to settle..government funded schools here do prioritise those kids that lives within their suburb..so most likely kung san ka nakatira na suburb dun mo rin cla enroll..san ba ung location ng work mo?

hanap din kami haouse. ano mga suburb na malapit dyan na me school din..

@ronaldo09, magkalapit lang pla tayo, woden din kmi..ung woden valley kc district cia, tpos may mga suburb cia like Phillip, Mawson, Farrer, Chifley, Lyons etc..dami un hehe..try to google Mawson Primary, Farrer Primary mga public schools yan d2 sa woden..malapit din yan sa Canberra Hospital..
try mo ung www.allhomes.com.au if you want to look a house or flat for rent...

Heads up lang guys... Malapit na i update yung occupation lists ng canberra sa August 2013... sana hindi matanggal sa lists yung occupation ko kasi hindi pa kami nakakapag apply ng SS nsa skills assessment stage pa lang ako and reviewing for IELTS. so sa mga may plans mag ACT.. bilisan na ninyo.. yun lang God Bless Us All.

dito me sa SG. sa newspaper lang nakita ng sis ko yun ads. then apply online. phone interview. face to face interview...then job offer...inabot din ng 1 year from the job offer up to approval ng visa.. subclass 187 yun sakin

@akino... sa may Macleay St, Turner. company provided yun temp accomodation natin. pero baka sa may Mawson kami mag hanap ng permanent kasi dun sa Mawson Pri school balak ipasok yun mga daughter ko.
