Hello Guys,

Ask ko lng. My wife is a singapore nurse, 2 yrs nursing experience in singapore and 4 years in the philippines.
She took ielts but got a 6.5 score in writing. Someone offered her a bridging program pero sa aged care. She can work dw 20 hrs a week daw. Program duration is 1 yr in melbourne it will cost us almost 16,000 dollars.

My question is should we grab it? or just retake ielts?
Can we apply for a perminent resident visa if she got an ielts of 6.5 in writing?
what other options ang suitable samin?

thanks guys for reading and take care.

    @mrluis , hello po.

    You might want to read this thread: http://www.pinoyau.info/discussion/477/what-are-the-options-for-nurses

    Madami dyan input from nurses who are taking different routes to registration in Australia. Meron din silang suggest na isa pang forum for nurses.

    Personally, I will re-take IELTS, and then apply to AHPRA for bridging and registration, given your wife's circumstances. Remember po that with aged care, baka mahirapan kayo maghanap ng employer after. The bridging program itself does not satisfy PR requirements. Suggest ko po basahin niyo above link so you can get a more informed view.

    Goodluck po!
