Hello pips, I got regional sponsorship sa SA, I'm still hesitant to lodge because I've been thinking if this is a good decision since there are limitations for this type of visa.
My other option is to take IELTS again baka this time mag-OK na, last time kc sumabit writing ko 6.5 lang, but my sponsorship will expire before I got my result in case I took IELTS again, what if sumabit na naman this time (di pa nman ako magaling sa English, being a programmer kc, our developed applications speak for us-ewan ko sa iba,baka ako lang un.)...
Can anyone enlighten me for the following :
1. to apply from Visa 475 to permanent visa, ung work po ba must be related to your occupation? Example, you are a Software Developer then ang nakuha mo work ay Software Tester or Software Analyst or crew sa Mcdonald (worst case-super not related), will it defaulted you to apply for permanent visa?
2. What are the major requirements to apply for permanent visa?
3. Madami po bang work sa South Australia related to IT?
4. How long will it take for DIAC to process 475 visa nowadays?
5. Will this visa allow me to travel outside AU after my initial entry?
6. In your experience, Ok ba ang buhay sa Adelaide?
7. Is there no implication for employer if you are on regional visa (475)?

475 - no restriction of work. Kahit ang nominated occupation mo ay ICT and you landed a GARDENER job, walang kaso yun, you will be granted a permanent resident status after two years, subject to regional residency compliance.

what's wrong with visa 475 ? medicare lang at benefits sa centrelink lang naman ang mawawala sau. For sure lahat tau pupunta ng australia para magtrabaho, hindi para magpa-hospital ng libre or pumila sa centrelink para sa pera ng gobyerno.

I guess you have to go through DIAC website and read thoroughly visa 475. Lahat ng questions mo masasagot dun. One more thing, lahat halos ng occupation sa South Australia for IT ay close na. Kung magpapatumpik-tumpik ka pa, sa July 2012 pa ang next opening ng IT jobs sa South Australia at ang regional sponsorship mo ay masasayang.

Kung hindi mo isa-submit ang application mo sa DIAC ngayon, goodluck kung makapasok ka sa Australia in the next 3 years. Remember sa new system meron nang IOE, at ang priority nila ay 75 pts and above. Mabilis nga ang processing pero sobrang tagal naman ng hintayan.

Sayang lang kasi ang regional sponsorship mo samantalang marami ditong aplikante sa forum na naghahangad ng visa 475.

Goodmorning mga peeps, newbie here. Gusto ko sana malaman if pano if wala sa SOL ung current work ko dito sa pinas? Can i still go to australia? ung 475 visa? papaano kaya yun? hindi ko kase masyado magets yung nakalagay sa site eh. Please enlighten me. I have relatives on Melbourne and said to me that they will sponsor me to Australia. Ano una ko gagawin mga peeps? Graduate pala ako ng BS computer engineering. thanks and more power.

If your nominated occupation is not included in the current SOL, you will not be qualified for 475-Relative Sponsorship. You may qualify however for 176 or 475 state sponsorship.

thanks sir...so ung 475 visa pala eh may category pa pala. Im currently working as a Network Administrator and chineck ko yung SOL eh wala sya dun. May nabasa pa ko na pwede nga tong 475 as other way going to Australia and has no specific class of job. Ano ba difference ng 176 to 475 in regards to processing ng visa? mas mahirap?mahal?mababa ang points?

total noob question : kelangan na ba bayaran yung $2960 kagad from the start on your assessment?

timeline: skilled 175 - nominated occupation: accountant (221111)

12.14.2010 - lodged application (paper)
12.22.2010 - acknowledgement from diac with file number
11.14.2011 - request for medicals, pcc/nbi and ielts for spouse
12.10.2011 - submitted medicals (xcept for xray as i was about to give birth), pcc/nbi, form 1022 to inform about pregnancy
12.14.2011 - gave birth to a baby boy
12.15.2011 - additional request for medical (hepa b- pregnancy) from diac
12.22.2011 - submitted medicals (hepa b, xray and for the newborn), ielts for spouse, form 1022 to include an additional family member
01.20.2011 - submitted passport copy and form 80 for the newborn baby

so technically, i am just waiting for further instructions from diac kung ano pa ang kailangan nilang document. however, according to our agent, ang last requirement daw is ang passport sa newborn. after submission, we need to wait between 1-3 months for their decision. so good luck to us!

ok, i will. thanks. eto nga problemado pa kc walangjo naman tong fedex na to, winala na ata ung original NBI q, pinadala ko last jan 25, ung luma kong nbi along with id, authorization, aun sa awa ng Diyos, hanggang ngaun di pa nakakarating ng pinas kaya di pa nakaka process ng nbi clearance!!!! whew.

Speaking of NBI clearance, kukuha na sana kami kanina. Wala na palang processing pag Saturday sa mga malls and even sa NBI Taft mismo. Buti na lang tumawag muna ko at nagtanong sa may kasungitang operator. Pero ok lang, at least I got additional time to sleep on a Saturday. Yun nga lang, kelangan mag-leave sa office.

Balitaan mo po kami dito ha if ano mangyari sa NBI application niyo. Sana gamitin nyo un NBI online, wala kasi ako nababasa pa na reviews about that service.

Iniisip ko nga if ok ba talaga yung online appointment nila kasi baka mamaya may limit lang din yun per day tapos matagal pa yung susunod na available nya. Pero pag-isipan ko na din yun. Kelangan kasi bayad ka na before mo malaman available scheds though 115 pesos lang naman per applicant. Balitaan kita.

If hindi naman po complicated yun case niyo, I suggest online application na lang po just like many of the members here. Madali lang naman po eh, available na naman mga references dito you just have to read and read and read. Malaki matitipid niyo. Since ikaw pa din naman po kukuha ng mga necessary documents gagawin lang nun agents is give you advice, and submit them for you.
