    I watched more episodes of the Border Security last weekend. Meron isa wherein kawawa naman yung mga live reptiles na nilagay nung isang pasahero sa socks tas saka nilagay sa maleta. Paalis sya ng AU bound to Malaysia or Thailand ata. Nahuli ng customs thru xray nun niloload na sa plane mga baggage and malapit na umalis yun plane. Buti nahuli ng customs. Wildlife trafficking. :(

    And mapapanood nyo din na meron talaga nagcoconceal ng narcotics inside their bodies. Akala ko Asians lang gumagawa nun. Meron din mga galing Europe. :(

    And what I also admired about their customs officers, besides being polite, is yung pagiging strict and mabusisi nila and they cannot be bribed. I learned that in their country, bribing a public official has a $1M fine. Sana ganun din dito satin. Walang magpapalagay, kung walang maglalagay and walang maglalagay kung walang magpapalagay. Madidisiplina talaga.

    I hate to say that watching the series makes me compare more Australia with our country, sa area pa lang to ng immigration and customs. What more pa kaya sa ibang aspects. And I'm really sad na malayo talaga sila satin. :(

    Nakaka-paranoid naman yung napanood kong Indian tourist na hi-nold sa immigratio. Kahit pala may tourist visa ka na they would still question you specially if you have a job na hindi kalakihan ang sweldo. I plan to save pa naman and take a package tour to Aussie. Hindi kaya ako i-hold????

    Aussie Dollar ba dapat dala? I'm not sure yet, it is still a plan, depende sa maiipon. Marami kasi ditong travel packages sa Jakarta kapag magho-holiday. Meron silang Sydney-Melbourne-Goldcoast for 7or 5 days but it costs more than USD $2000....sakit sa bulsa!

    just want to share. nanay ko nagdala ng portable hdisk na naglalaman ng pirated installers pati filipino movies na sinave ko...nirequest kasi ng kuya ko. ok naman. :P Pati nagdala din sya ng daing... ok naman din basta ideclare lang yung daing.

    Buti, nakalusot yung daing. Yung sandwich na bili ko sa sing airport habang nag-stop over eh hindi pinalusot. Kainis, wla kasing delifrance sa brisbane, i think sa melbourne lang meron. yung goldilocks polvoron hindi rin pinalusot, samantala nakakabili ako nun sa filipino store sa valley, at least yung choconut pwde.

    Hindi naman sa bawal, you are just notified (via email) by your isp na meron silang na receive na complaint from a copyright holder that monitors the ip addresses from torrent seeders which is 'probably' distributing their content inappropriately. These email are just warning messages/tactics to scare people off. Also, marami ding mga isp dito na lax ang monitoring (so d/l all u want). You just have to search some forums to know these isp's. I know 2 (isang big player, isang medium company). Sadly, kahit naka-unlimited ako, yung isp ko is one of those who monitors. But, everything has a loophole, isp's don't want to loose customers, lalo na tough times ngaun.

    dipende sa dami ng dala mo. mas mabuti wag ka na mag dala ng daing bumili ka na lang sa asian store. kung mayrun ka man dala i declare mo kung hindi may fine ka pinaka mababa ng AUD200. Maraming pasaway talaga na asian.

    Episode 12 na ako ng season 1...grabe talaga security nila...importante rin pala na alagaan yung passport...kung may lukot o nadumihan, susuriin nila talaga kasi una nilang hinala sa mga ganyan e forged yung passport.

    Tapos pagkain...ayaw talaga nila na may pinapasok kang pagkain at mga gamit na yari sa kahoy :-s

    Hi, just a thought, cguro tyempuhan din yung tight security nila, hindi all the time cuz I just talked with my indonesian friend who had been to Sydney for 3 times and according to him he even hand carried a plant in a box and he didn't even declare it, pinalampas lang naman sya. Pero syempre mas mabuti nag-iingat to avoid any problem. x

    Pasaway yang indonesian friend mo sinabi na ngang bawal eh lalo na yung plant kung iba nagkasi baka maapektuhan yun halaman din dito.

    May napanood ako Pinay na matanda na may asawang puti, umiyak sya kasinga pinag-fine sya sa customs for over baggage ...sabi nya pinagbayad din daw sya sa US for that baggage and yes may nakalagay pang "balikbayan" dun sa box.

    Ito weird case napanood ko lately...pag nerbiyoso or pawisin kayo, try niyo muna icompose sarili niyo bago kayo pumunta ng immigration booth or sa customs

    May case na inosente yung immigrant pero hinarang kasi kaduda-duda raw yung tao. Yun pala likas lang na pawisin yung tao hehehe...kawawa nga e :-s

    actually nagkakaproblema naman kapag tourist visa. Pero kapag working or immigrant visa, hindi ka naman siguro pag-iinitan kahit mukhang pulubi at nerbyoso ka hehehe.

    Masuspetiya sila sa mga tao...in fairness may napanood ako kahit Aussie at Kiwi ganyan din pinagawa nila so it's good too know that it is not about race :P

    Sa kapapanood ko nito, gagawa na rin ako ng declaration checklist ng mga dadalhin ko para di ako malagot haha

    Nung nagcheck-in ako sa immigration last week, naka-lusot yung dala kong goldilocks polvoron. Nilabas at na-inspection pa nga ng customs agent pero ok lang sa kanya. Last year hindi pinayagan, pero siguro swertehan lang kung mahigpit or relax lang yung custom agent na matapat sau. Importante lang is i-declare lahat.

    @Davidx23, nakakatakot kasi pag mahigpit sila...strikto sila kung organic dinala diba? What if nagdeclare ako na may dala akong saging? Papayagan na ba nila?
