Looking for cheap/shared accommodations in Melbourne...

Hi! Jeff here. Our PR visa has just been granted on 11/4/14. I just want to ask if there are kababayans here who know any cheap accommodations or who are willing to share accommodations with us. Actually, there are 3 of us - me, my wife and my 3-year old daughter. I'm planning to move first to at least lessen the cost of living 'till I get a job. But if there are options to immediately bring them with me, of course that I would love to.:) I'm just thinking if there are family here who needs someone to look for their child/children while they are at work, my wife is open for this nanny thing while she is also taking care of our daughter. BTW, my nominated skill is Accountant-External Auditor, I would really appreciate if you could also help me or give me some tips in looking for a job. I don't have any preferred job for as long as it is related to my field - accounting.

I'm planning to move by June or July as I still need to arrange some things and I still need to file my resignation from my current job here in the Philippines, which requires at least 1 month notice hence the earliest date I could move in will be in June.
