Waiting time for Subclass 489 Family Sponsored 2014-2015

Hello everyone,

Meron ba sa inyong may experience or dates regarding the processing time, from submission of EOI to invitation to Visa Grant about Subclass 489 Family sponsored? If may info or link please share it here.

And I am thinking kasi between theses two options:
1. Skilled Independent Subclass 189 - I can claim 60 points, based on my own assessment
2. Skilled Regional Provisional Family Sponsored Subclass 489 - I can claim points from 65-70 points, based again on my own assessment, I am eligible as well because of my uncle who lives in a designated area (Mackay, QLD)

I guess the higher the points, the higher the chances of invites and depends pa din sa points cut off for a certain invitation round. So ngayon, I am gathering some insights on what subclass to apply for. Yung sa submission ba sa SkillSelect ng EOI, sa start pa lang you will choose di ba kung anong type of visa, can you tick two boxes, for example subclass 189 and 489, then wait na lang if ano mauna mag invite? Is that feasible? Pwede ba yun and may nangyari ba nun?

Its like hitting two birds at the same time, kung ano mahulog yun na.

The dilemma is, yung sa 189, just in case mag short ako sa points test is most probably hindi na ako ma-invite because wala akong extra points, while sa 489 meron ako kahit papaano extra points if ever magkulang based on their assessment. Based sa nababasa ko dito sa forums, which are very helpful for newbies like me, eh mas madali ma invite ang mga nasa 189, and pag dating mo sa OZ as PR status na, rather than sa 489 na after two years pa then apply for PR.
