Reply to @LokiJr: Bigla akong napa-check sa Victoria website ah! Fortunately, hindi naman daw sabi dito.
Processing of Victorian Government skilled sponsorship applications will continue uninterrupted, however the name of the application forms will be updated on 1 June 2012 on this site in anticipation of the changes to DIAC’s visa application process.
Sana sa ibang state din. meron bang recently approved SS applicants dito?

    Hi guys
Kailangan ba lahat ng docs e naka notarized/certified, esp. yung CV? Sa mga employment contracts, pwede kaya yung pa notarize ko lang e yung pages na naka state yung position or start date tapos yung may mga signatures na? Thanks

@bmc_cpu : for my case, naka-notarize lahat except the CV and payslips.

Based on the information in this link, the required "recent experience" for my nominated occupation which is Analyst Programmer is 3 years. :)

thanks for d reply. Btw, another question po, yung ACS results ba na ipapasa for SS ay yung printed out galing sa result email from ACS? or meron talagang pinapadala yung ACS na result form via post or courier at yung certified copy yung isisend?

hindi din po ako sure pero ang ginawa ko e nilagyan ko ng label bawat document according dun sa document checklist nila. post-it lang ginawa ko tapos nilagyan ko lang ng number at description ng document sabay naka-paperclip. haha. not sure if that's what they meant. :)

Ang estimated time of processing nila is 12 weeks, pero nung nag-follow up ako nag-reply naman sila with,
Thank you for your email. The application is currently in the latter stages of assessment and we will have an outcome as soon as possible.
    Cross fingers and legs.

So far may na-approve ang WA in as fast as two days.

O kaya malay mo madesisyunan before end of June.

Reply to @angel4ever: Na-notice ko rin na muntik ka nang maka-20 points sa Language Skills. You may try applying for remarking.

Goodluck talaga! :)

Reply to @angel4ever: According to the Skillselect website:
Nomination by a state or territory government

State and territory government agencies will have access to SkillSelect. If you are interested in being nominated by a state or territory government for this visa, you should indicate this in your EOI. If you are interested in a particular state you will have an option to indicate this state, or you may choose to be available to all states if you do not have a preference.

If the state/territory government nominates you, you will automatically receive an invitation from SkillSelect to apply for a visa.

Reply to @Metaform: That's good news. Although, unlike today tayo ang nag-aapply for SS.

Reply to @angel4ever: If I understood correctly, Skill Select will be like a database for states from which they can choose candidates. In a way, posibleng mawala na rin yung separate application ng sponsorship dahil doon. That's just my theory.

I got my SS sa WA already.

Suspension of State Sponsorship applications 12:00 pm Thursday 28 June 2012
    25 June 2012

Due to the changes being implemented by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), current arrangements for State Sponsorship are only valid to 30 June 2012. Skilled Migration Western Australia (SMWA) will be accepting applications until 12.00 pm Thursday 28 June 2012 so that applications for State Sponsorship can be finalised on Friday 29 June 2012.

SMWA will re-open on Monday 2 July 2012.

From 1 July applicants pursuing State Sponsorship with Western Australia will be required to submit an expression of interest under SkillSelect with DIAC in the first instance and then submit an application with SMWA.
