@Gene011089 Hi, unfortunately AHPRA has the only say whether your qualifications/experience are recognised.. You can try to volunteer for 3mos and see how you go. Just have all your proofs ready.

Hi, im currently working as non clinical nurse (bpo setting but required ang PHRN license). Tatanggapin po kaya ng APHRA? Nakalagay naman sa website nila pwede non clinical kaso im not sure if anyone here has the same case like mine. And may note pa po dun na if the applicant has not been in the clinical practice aphra may need to ask the applicant to take steps to prove na competent and safe to practice. Tatanggapin po kaya ako sa bridging?

hello guys! i just sent all my applications to AHPRA on april 15 and received a confirmation of my application after a week and now waiting for my LOE. My worry is just my migration agent informed me that the slots for the bridging courses in Deakin Uni easily fills up, although they have the bp courses until nov 2017. I am eyeing pa naman for the intake this year. Is it possible na makaabot pa po ba ako? thank you

Hi! I would like to ask some help to those who've been assessed by AHPRA for bridging program. I am currently having problems editing my CV as they require Internship and Observership, as well as results or performance report for skills assessments stated within the CV should be attached. I do not know what those are, anyone here would like to help me out with this? :)

@mjtumibay Hi, Oo malaki yung chance considering na sa specialty area yung work experience mo. Kung hindi naman makahanap ng work after bridging, makakapagapply naman kayo ng PR which in my opinion is better kasi permanent ka na rito unlike pag working visa na temporary lang and you'll never know when will the immigration rules change so it's riskier compared to PR.

@nonononoway Hi! just don't include the internship/ observership part in the practice history if you have not undergone any internship program. You can include the seminars/ trainings that you have attended and attach the certified copy of the certificates to your CV.

Hello everyone. New member here humbly asking for feedback and insights.

I got my AHPRA registration po last May 11th and actively looking for employment through employers still willing to sponsor VISA Sponsorship. If may mga suggestions po kayo or recommendations do let me know. I am currently working here in Singapore po.

Another question po, nag lodge na din ako ng modified skill assessment and mejo kinakabahan lang po ako. May i ask what would be the possible reasons for an AHPRA registered nurse not to the gain the approval from ANMAC?

Looking forward to your reply and God bless!

@ZboyandAngel If you have a good overseas experience, and in a specialty area it would be easy for you to find a job here in Au.

If you don't meet one of the 5 criteria then you won't get a positive assessment. You'll be fine especially na registered ka na rito sa Au. Ang pinakanakikita ko lang na reason for refusal is lack of experience.. So far wala pa naman kaming kakilala na nakakakuha ng negative LOD.

Hello Ma'am Casey, thank you for the reassuring advice. By my computation, by end of July lalabas ang LOD ng ANMAC. Praying for favorable results!

@mjtumibay Most likely yes kasi kumbaga may pre-assessment na ng AHPRA sa qualification ng applicant though ibang entity yung ANMAC. I think kung may marerefuse it's because mali yung pagclaim ng points or may mali sa papers na sinubmit.

You can book an appointment with IDP or AECC Global. Their services are free. Or You can do it by yourself and apply directly to the Uni. You just need to comply with their requirements and you can go from there.

You need 7 for bridging or You can try to take other english tests like PTE, TOEFL ibt or OET.

@Cassey Hello ma'am! Just want to ask if need ng work experience pag mag-apply ng 189? I think I can make the cut - 60 pts (as long as I get 20 pts from Ielts) coz I don't have any staff nurse experience in PHL. Will be finishing my BSN June next year here at USQ and I'm looking for possible visas now. Thanks a lot! :)
