WORRIED APPLICANT (OFW from Singapore)

My name is John at tubong Isabela po ako. This is not my first time to apply for a visa to Australia, I applied before for a tourist visa at luckily nabigyan ako ng 1 year multiple entry and now I'm about to lodge my application for Student Visa (subclass 573?) ung pang Higher Education Student Visa?
Now, I'm just a little worried about the process kasi I don't have any idea and I needed all your help lalo na yung mga may experience na nag apply from here (sa Singapore VFS).

first, I'll have to ask if I need to include my passport for my student visa application (I know this sound stupid) kasi ang sabi sa req't is just the photocopy of my passport.
2nd, I have my document of sufficient fund/COE from QUT/OSHC/and my friend's address where I'll be staying temporarily what else do they require from you?
and lastly, kung sino man ang makakasabay ko na mag-aaral ng English for Academic Purposes commencing on Feb 2015 please let me know. Mas mabuti na ung may kaibigan or kakilala aged sa school (pantanggal kaba lang)

hi @JmSigapore, hindi ako nag-lodge sa singapore pero sabi ng education agent ko dito sa IDP, hindi na sinasama ang passport sa application. photocopy na lang daw.

eto ang checklist ko (subclass 573)

-completed application form 157a
-2 passport sized photos with your name written on the back of each photo
-manager's check for the student visa application fee
-photocopy of passport
-COE
-letter of offer
-IELTS results
-Birth Certificate from NSO
-Transcript of Records
-Medical Examination Receipt
-Affidavit of Financial Declaration
-Certificate of Employment
-NBI Clearance (optional, kung meron ka lang naman)

@JmSigapore I know the feeling, sa Singapore na rin ako nag IELTS kaya before lodging itself stress na ako.. I cant even work properly after lodging my visa especialy after my interview bec. My CO directly told me that they are not satisfide and they will grant since my sponsor is not in the list na pwedeng mag sponsor, direct to the point... sinagot ko lang tlga sila... PRAYERS, FAITH, TIWALA AND PRAYERS ULIT LANG TLGA... IT REALLY WORKS AND E CACALM KA NIYA.. GOOD LUCK... ^_^

Hello Guys! Sorry, it took me so long to post the good news from The Aus High Commission. It's approved!
I lodge the application last Jan 20, I had my Medical assesment Jan 24, the decision came out Jan 27. Visa subclass 573. No interview/No Visa label. All have been sent thru my email. Wew! Relief. Hello Brisbane in less than a month!

I lodge the application last Jan 20, I had my Medical assesment Jan 24, the decision came out Jan 27. Visa subclass 573. No interview/No Visa label. All have been sent thru my email. Wew! Relief. Hello Brisbane in less than a month!

@ann006 hi i know its been 2 yrs after u posted this thread, im jst hoping n mbbsa mopo ito,im also a ofw here in singapore, me consultant po ako n base in manila which is OEA (options for education nlahblahblah) ask ko lng kung ano ano need nun ng apply k ng student visa , under VET course kopo and also pede po ba lolo (kapatid ni lola) ang mging source of fund ko? I mean sya mag provide ng bank statement? Other than bank statement,-ano p po need nya? Mrming slmt po s lahat..

@filsgoz thank u for the time po... Actually meron po akong educ agent (paid) OEA po pero ayoko nmn po mngulit s knila kc hnd p n lodge un application, nextnextweek p po cgro after mg byad tuition, pero worried lng po ako s fiance ko, kc mejo nttkot akong umalis mag isa,
Ganto po if around march is lumabas ang visa and Gods will na approve po, i want to apply my fiance ryt after n m apprv kc sbe po ng educ agent wag pag sabayin kc daw po once reject c fiance reject dn daw po ako...

@filsgoz yung mag provide po ng proof of funds ko is tito ko(brother ni lola) sya kc un me sapat n funds s bank pinas base po. Ok lng po b yun? Hnd immediate family ang provide ng show money

hi @sachiko a sponsor can be responsible for your finances, so that should be alright. somewhere you will be asked if you will self-finance your studies, or have a sponsor. he can be your 'sponsor', if that makes sense. don't worry too much. australia looks at merits of your case and you will not unjustly turned down. jia you!:)

Regarding po sa sponsor, ano po need nila e submit? ok lang ba letter signed by them plus their Australia documents details? or need pa bank statement nila showing they have enough funds/savings?

Yung sponsor po kasi namin is Sister ng wife ko who is in Australia already. Main wife ko po applicant.

@yhanox depends on your provider. i can only assume that it's a letter of undertaking witnessed by a jp or any authorised person who could witness (in Australia) or notarize (in the Phils).

Sa Singapore Australia Embassy po pala kami mag submit ng visa application ni misis kasi ditto kami both nag work. tnx
Kulang kasi pang show money naming kaya gusto tumulong ng sister inlaw ko na mag provide ng letter nya

Do u think po ba ok lang na wala na mag witness sa letter but only original signature nalang ng Sister-in law ko? - i wouldn't know. hopefully, it's ok. anyway for 573, Philippine's assessment level is 2, so not much documentation is required. that should give you a bit more positive outlook:)

Yeah, singapore has been so good to us as well, will surely miss this place if matuloy kami sa OZ.
Currently, were trying to complete the financial requirements. medo malaki kasi kelangan coz 3 kami sa application.

@yhanox how did it go? I am hoping kasi na auntie ko yung sponsor ko eh. Nasa Sydney xa,ano ba kailangan nila ibigay to help me with my application. Andito din po kasi ako sa Singapore.
