Licence doesn’t have any bearing at all unless you studied from a university which isn’t listed under section 1.

It’s your preference in the end. Student visa will get you there faster but there’s no assurance you’ll get your PR. It’s an expensive pathway to PR that’s for sure. When you get there, likely you won’t get a job in your profession. You need to be prepared mentally and emotionally for this as coming to terms with doing odd jobs over there was a struggle my end when I was a student over there knowing the fact that I could get a proper job if I would be back in the Philippines.

With GSM pathway, things are slow at the moment but we’re anticipating news around May regarding migration plans for the new financial year (July 2022 to June 2023). This pathway won’t get you sooner to Australia compared to a student visa but once you’re there, Your future is more secured as you’ll be entering the country on either a PR or Provisional visa. And would be much easier to land a job within your profession. Not to mention the fact that whilst you wait for your application to progress, you’re still working back home, gaining more experience and saving money in preparation for your big move. In short, it may be a slower to step into Australia but you’re preparing for a much smoother transition.

We’ve had a number of cases where clients don’t have licence so shouldn’t be an issue as long as your degree is equivalent to an AQF bachelor degree.

    Hope this helps

Thank you po. Thank you. :)

Di ko din sure bakit ako nag negative nun. dahil di ako confident at first na maging positive sa EA dahil di ako licensed and most work experiences ko nun ay project management/supervision kaya sa Vetassess ako nagpasa as a Project Builder. Pero yun nga, nag negative sa Vetassess kaya tried my luck sa EA and got the positive assessment.

I'm a Structural Engineer but just to add sa paggawa ng CDR, here are my key points and what I've written:

    1. Career episodes:
1st - First company (Research & development project)
2nd - First company (One major project)
3rd - Second company (All significant project involvements)
*I am only employed in 2 structural engineering firms in a span of 6 years

    2. Introduction & Background

    • Tell your position, start date, and location of company
    • Tell your duties & responsibilities
    • Show organizational chart of the company, also highlighting your position
    1. Content/Body
    • Tell specific projects wherein you exhibit all of the needed factors as outlined in the "Summary Report"
    • Explain the complexity of the projects
    • Show clips of floor plans, diagram from code standards, spreadsheets you have created, structural models you have created using engineering softwares, details you have created
    • Always use the first person noun/pronoun, "I did", "I have created', etc
    • Cite specific problems you have solved and/or unable to solve
    • Cite how you manage junior engineers if you hold senior role
    • Cite not only technical skills but also leadership & management skills as well as how you show good ethics and right conduct in the performance of your role
    1. Summary
    • Summarize your key duties/objectives and how you manage to achieve them

    ...

In doing so, I was able to received positive result from EA within 20days (fast track route)

    Hello. Good day.

Question 1: Should I opt for VETASESS or Enginners Australia for my skills asessment?
ANZSCO CODE: 312211 - Civil Engineering Draftsperson

Meron akong positive assessment sa Vetassess as CE draftsperson (7.5 yrs experience) and as professional engineer CE sa EA (walang years deduction sa EA).

Sa Vetassess na lang if draftsperson, kasi cheaper and easier kasi wala na CDR. pero may deduction ang vetassess ng 1 year work experience..

I think wala namang bearing kung anong assessing body. parehas namang recognized ng DHA.

By the way nainvite ako sa Visa 189 sa Vetassess draftsperson nung Aug 22.

Same! I got invited nung Aug 22 with CE draftsperson. I was actually looking at visa 190/491.

As per my agent a year ago (hanggang ngayon naman siguro), mataas ang kompetensya pag Civil Engineer ang occupation at mas may chance ma-invite ang Civil Engineering draftsperson.

yes, may mass invitation ung DHA sa civil engineer draftsperson nung aug 22. kasi may kilala ako, 65 points + offshore pero 189 invited din nung aug 22 sa CE draftsperson. di ko din expect ma invite, kaya nag pa assess din ako as civil engineer anzsco 2332 kasi pmsol daw. aug 21 ako nagpasa sa EA, then aug 22 na invite ung CE drafts, kaya naging 2 tuloy assessment sakin.

I think first batch din ung aug 22 for 189 invitation for 2022-2023. dami ko din kilalang onshore nurses nainvite nung same day. mejo lucky ung CE drafts nung time na yun..

    Hello.

    Mas may chance ma-invite > @cvlantonov said:

Wrong information yan kabayan. Only Engineers Australia can assess ANZSCO 233211 o Civil Engineer occupation. VETASSESS cannot assess 233211.

okay. salamat po. So EAUST nlng ako. salamat.

No need CDR

I see.

I see.

Tapos representative lng/company? Hnd nmn need na per project db?
