For my case po wala na tlaga akong budget to retake another IELTS exam and parang mag review at the same time work pa. So i just took the the 475 visa route kasi ok na to just to be able to live and work in Oz. 2 years lang naman po yung intayin para maka apply for PR kaya ok na din. Madami na rin po yung mga nag 475 visa dito sa mga kaforumers natin dito. like sir @sheep and @sohc. If di na po talaga kaya ni mister then might as well go for this visa subclass. Medayo natagalan na rin po ata kay ng application sa Vetasses diba?

anyway yung 475 ba mabilis lang ba ang pag process ng visa non? or matagal din?
tama ba pag kakainitindi ko mag apply pa muna ng sponsorship like sa Perth bago makapag apply ng 575 na visa?
at oo ang tagal ng inantay nmen sa vetassess halos 5 months din..

Mabilis lang po yung processing ng 475. May ilan po dito sa forum na within 1-2 months approve na agd yung visa nila. I-weight nyo lang din po yung mga optoins nyo if you need wouls like to pursue this visa kasi nga diba wla tong benefits unlike pag PR visa ka na. Pero kung may funds naman kayo at work na makukuha sa Oz pagdating nyo dun e wala ka na sigurong magigigng problema.Saka po yung 475 visa Regional Spomsored po sya which means sa Regional areas or low populated areas ka lang pwedeng mag live and work. In the case of WA yung Perth is not considered as Regional Area kaya di ka pwede mag work dun. Apply ka muna ng 475 SS sa WA. Good Luck po!

therefore i can say na applying for 475 in WA is a good option, na parang 176 na rin in terms of working opportunities...

Following the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship’s recent announcement to include Perth in the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS), a number of changes have been made effective from 12 September 2011.
-regional postcodes for the RSMS to include Perth
-the inclusion of Perth as a regional area for family sponsored applications through the regional General Skilled Migration program.
In summary, Perth has been classified as regional for the following migration programs:
-Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Subclass 119 & 857)
-Skilled Regional Sponsored (provisional) (Subclass 475)
-Skilled Regional Sponsored (provisional) (Subclass 487)
-Skilled Regional (permanent) (Subclass 887).

nacheck ko yan, only relative ss 475 is allowed to work in perth kapag state sponsored hindi pwede. Dati kasi binalak ko di yang perth since my cousin ako dyan.

Ok naman ang 475, 1 year full time work & living 2 years in regional area PR ka na. Pareho tayo sa IELTS din ako nahirapan, kumuha pa nga ako ng partner skills. I think 70pts na kami nun but just to be 100% sure 475 na lang kinuha namin. Nakakatakot din mag gamble since it's P131k worth.

halos 1 month lang processing time namin sa 475 visa. Advice ko lang better do all the possible solutions before July 2012. Ako dati namili pa ko ng state, then sumablay inabutan tuloy ako ng new pts system. Thank God at nakalusot naman.

kaya nga tinatanong ko sa agent nmen kng ano pang option for 176 kse sayang nman PR na kagad pag dating don may benefits na kagad.. wait ko pa sagot ng agent nmen..kse hirap may kasama kameng baby eh mas ok na may benefits kagad.. sana talga magawan ng paraan ng agent nmen..
k_mavs, nasa Australia ka na ba? dba 475 din ang visa mo? ilang months ka nag antay sa visa?

Wala pa po ako sa Oz. Kakalodge ko pa lang po ng 475 visa ko last March. 18, 2012 kaya intay pa rin po ako. Family din po kami punta sa Oz with our baby. why not try po na mag pa sponsor sa cousin nyo if ever pwede na syang mag sponsor para mas ok at pwede na kyo sa Perth mag work.

pero kung STATE ang nagsponsor syo when applying for regional visa 475, hindi considered regional ang perth...so sa mga regional areas ka lang talga pwede mag work..

Subclass 475 Skilled Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa
The Skilled Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa is a temporary 3 year visa which would
enable you to live and work in a regional area of the sponsoring state. Under the present
General Skilled Migration regime, once you have lived for two (2) years in the specified
regional area and worked for one (1) year in the same area, you will be eligible to seek
permanent residency. We confirm that employment does not have to be in the nominated
occupation.
State Sponsorship
We confirm that your nominated occupation appears on the subclass 475 occupations list of
Western Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory.
We confirm your earlier instructions that you prefer Western Australia as the sponsoring
State.
Lodging your State Sponsorship and Visa Application
Please email us to confirm your instructions to proceed with the Subclass 475 Skilled
Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa.
Upon receipt of your instructions and supporting documents as previously requested, we will
proceed to apply to Western Australia for state sponsorship and prepare your visa application.
Please note that the State Sponsorship lists of occupations change regularly and are subject to
planning levels. Therefore you should provide all documentation as soon as possible to avoid
your occupation being filled or removed from the Western Australia list.

Yun din po dati yung pagkakaintindi ko sa Regional Sponsored na Pwede mag apply ng work sa Perth based dun sa announcement dati ng DIAC which is mali pala. Applicable lang pala yun for 475 family sponsored visa. Hehe. Pero may mga regional area naman na malapit sa Perth like Mandurah kaya choose ka na lng kung san kayo pwede dun.

your not allowed to work sa perth if 475 State sponsored. If makakuha man ng work sa perth you may have problems applying for 887 PR visa later on.
Relative sponsorship is possible if nasa SOL1 yn position ng husband mo.

475 din ba ang visa mo? na approve na ba? gano katagal ba inaabot ng 475?
kse mag apply daw muna kame ng sponsorship sa WA saka palang ba mag apply ng 475 after non? thnks God bless

When can you apply for a permanent visa?
You can apply for a permanent visa after you have:
-lived for two years in a Specified Regional Area and worked,
-including being self-employed, for one year in these same areas.

i highlighted the "self-employed", technically that means you can open a business with 475 provisional visa.. but be sure to check with your agent to be sure..

Please expand on your research for e.g. websites that you visited in respect of job opportunities or schooling etc and be more specific as to your reasons for wanting to reside in those regions to demonstrate to the assessor that you are genuinely interested in remaining in that region(s).
