Oh. Interesting! In this case mas okay ba mag IELTS? I have no problem in Speaking, Listening, and Writing last time kasi superior naman. Sa reading ako nagkaproblem, kinulang ako ng 3points. πŸ₯² hindi ko pa rin ma-outsmart ang logic nitong PTE talaga. πŸ˜…

Hi. What's the best PTE mock test platform for you? I'm planning to subscribe to APE Uni but some said that Gurully is better.

    Thank you!

IMO may human bias sa IELTS kasi lalo na sa W at S, so yan ang main reason bat prefer ng tao ang PTE. Just stick with it, practice lang need dyan :)> @desaers said:

Apeuni is good, subscribe ka sa VIP membership nila. My students told me na yung actual exam questions daw ang nappraktis nila sa apeuni, minsan lumalabas same questions sa attempt nila

Anong tricks gamit niyo sa FIB-RW, FIB-R, and RO? Sa mga samples ni Jimmyssem & Anusha sobrang dali lang pero sa APEUni sobrang hirap. :'(

79 lang ba para maka superior for each module?

Sa lahat ng modules ng PTE, reading ang pinaka mahirap kasi walang shortcut dyan - pag di mo alam grammar/definition ng words sa FITB gg na haha. Malakasang praktis lang yan sa APEUNI, walang secret na kahit ano. Goodluck!

Yes, required sya. I-orient ka din bago pumasok sa test room na bawal ibaba ang mask during exam. But i noticed yung iba nag bababa ng mask, di naman nasisita.

Ang scoring algo ng apeuni conservative. When it comes to the actual PTE test mas forgiving siya. For read aloud, make sure lang na may gaps ka in between words kasi nung practice sa apeuni, pag na lump yung words together di na rerehistro hehehrhe.

Speak your words fluently lang kahit monotonous.

I noticed din kay APEUni na mas tumataas score ko pag binibilisan ko yong pagsasalita ko compared sa normal voice.. So may plan is to get pearson PTE mocktest kase close to accurate daw sa scoring. And I noticed it too na hindi nagwowork ang templates ni Jimmyssem, Anusha or Singh PTE class kay APEuni, pero pag template nila gamit ko, it works naman. Bias yata? Lol.

This is somewhat true for Read aloud don't pause unless necessary at may tuldok or comma. I found out that works for me with LA practice test. But I believe may minute differences lang. Ang tataas ng scores sa free version pag dating sa mock test ang bumababa mga scores ko drastically. There is something fishy sa algorithm , pero I did not sign up sa premium version nila pero pumasa pa din. Find what works for you.

    Thanks for the inputs guys!!

I think medyo worried lang ako kasi ang inconsistent na ng results ko. Trying to improve my RA. I already took the official test.l Actual PTE result: Writing 87 , Listening 87, Speaking 81 and Reading 76

After this, I took the pearson mock test and got a much lower score. Lower than the actual test and my APEUNI scores.

Got this scores in Pearson mock test - Listening 67, Reading 67, Speaking 77 and Writing 76

I am retaking the test this week and medyo na de-motivate bec. of these results

Just keep on trying lang and be confident. You are more than ready for that superior.

My motivation before was the expensive test fee heheheeh. (I took it twice before getting all 90 🀣)

Apeuni worked for me and my wife (march 2023)

Practice lang and know the flow of test types. Read aloud even before recording para mas ready ka. (Prepare din templates to be written on the laminated paper during this period para sa describe image etc para ka na lang newscaster na nagbabasa sa teleprompter)

Hi po, any tips po for read aloud? I am using apeuni and ang nakukuha ko score is 55-85. Problem is di ako consistent sa scoring. I tried speaking fast pero minsan kahit bilisan at linawan ko pag sasalita mababa pa rin yung score.

Agreed. Delivery = completed sentence with proper intonation, no stuttering, use proper fillers instead of 'uhms' 'ahs'.

inconsistent talaga bigay ng apeuni. I got 90 in all bands sa real test pero 60 lang sa apeuni when I tried. Unreliable yung checking nila sa S at W

Practice lang and know the flow of test types. Read aloud even before recording para mas ready ka. (Prepare din templates to be written on the laminated paper during this period para sa describe image etc para ka na lang newscaster na nagbabasa sa teleprompter)

pwedi ba to gawin beforehand like di pa nag start ang test?

You can try to ask. Expect them to only allow you to write once the exam starts. Ive heard before is even sa part pa lang ng self intro pumapayag.

You don't need to, 30 seconds is a good benchmark to complete the task, can always paraphrase the last few seconds to reach that point. When I run out of words I used a filler phrase to make that happen. Learned those from LA.

Sa speaking never nagmamatter ang content, it's always on delivery. Kahit ganyan sabihin mo magkakaroon ka pa rin ng score, same logic on all other speaking subtests. Delivery matters more than accuracy.

Source: I teach PTE in Perth for almost 5 yrs lol

Oh. Interesting! In this case mas okay ba mag IELTS? I have no problem in Speaking, Listening, and Writing last time kasi superior naman. Sa reading ako nagkaproblem, kinulang ako ng 3points. πŸ₯² hindi ko pa rin ma-outsmart ang logic nitong PTE Talaga. πŸ˜…

practice makes it , writing naman ako mahina pati sa speaking ,dahil AI naman ang nagchecheck ,LA has made it simple when you follow their templates , nakatulong lang din skin yung part where you sequence the sentences in their proper order , the trick is from most general to most detailed sentences plus yung iba pa nila tips and syempre run as much of the items kung saan ka pa weak.

Dun po sa mga tapos na nagtake ng test, gaano po kahaba yung sinasabi sa Write From Dictation? Mga ganito po ba kahaba?

Leaving valuable possessions unattended in public place is risky.

Normal lang po yan ,practice will get you there

Some of my taking note techniques:

Jot down short forms -of words - i can do half of it then memorize the other half , it works wonders you save time and effort

    Or

take down the first letter of each word example sa 2nd sentence na binigay mo i will write as : (f,c,tm ,s, & c, h,l / n nv)

Some can be longer than those so it helps if you get your mind into it

There is a practice module in youtube or in apeuni. You can search for it.

What i remember during practice, meron 3 levels. Like easy mid and hard. Its good to train the muscle and prepare what works best. I tried the first letter of each word pero di gumana hehehe. Mas madali for me to recall the first few words and repeat in my mind while trying to absorb the whole gist of the statement para madali recall.

Practice helped alot and the anticipation of getting hard sentences as well. In the end parang 1 long sentence lang and the rest are simple sentences. Goodluck

Practice typing as well, kasi pede rekta mo na i type kung mabilis ka magtype (mabagal ako magsulat).

Correct your spelling and punctuations later once you have typed the rest of the words. Practice so you know what works best for you. My technique did not work well for my wife kasi mas prefer niya sulat at di sya masyado confident with her typing skill.

sa wfd ang minimum is 8 words, maximum is 15. Imake sure mo pala na may period ka lagi sa end ng sentence or else 0 ang score mo pag wala. Strategies that work for some people might not work for you so explore ka lang and practice on apeuni

Practice lang talaga at focus. Kalimutan mo muna yung nakasaksak na rice cooker at kung na lock mo ba yung kotse mo hehehe. Seriously, once you enter the test center, drop everything. (even work na they might be calling you lalo na if you just called in sick hehehe).

Mga ganyan ang sample, chekc mo apeuni madami dun. Muscle memory lang din at figuring out which one works best for you.

Naalala ko yung tipong: The next available lecture will be available after the class on Monday. (tipong gnyan hehehe) Yan na ata swerteng complex. Yung iba simple sentence lang, akala mo meron pa kasunod. Good to practice yung mahahaba para pag sa real exam na, batak ka na.

Learn the rest of the exam types, kung saan ka feeiling mo mahina, dun mo pukpukan. (In my case, written essay, summarize written text, reorder paragraphs, write from dictation)
