This is not bad in general as it is not closing doors to skilled migrant rather opening opportunities to people who can afford.

Based sa pagkakaintindi ko.. they are planning to “sell the right to immigrate” to Australia, which is an immigrant visa, and not an outright Citizenship…. I think an outright citizenship is not possible in any immigration law, at least for this kind of scheme.
Short-term kikita siguro ng pera government, but in the long-run… unless these people who will buy their rights to migrate to Australia, have lots of money that will enable them to put-up businesses and create jobs… there’s a possibility that they will actually burden the government later on since they are probably not “skilled” and cannot contribute to the workforce and economy…
Bago to ah, never heard of this scheme anywhere… note that we are not just talking about Tourist Visas or Work Permits here… Immigrant Visa ito.

i respectfully disagree. di naman po ipinagbawal mag migrate ang mahirap.
ang policy is pwede mag migrate ang mayaman. that is two different things.
