from what i know, most aged care facilities need a cert 3 or 4 pra mk work. d kasi nila fully recognized anh RN dito kya may bridging or conversion or bachelors degree.

-this Oct sana alis ko- in God's will. pero di ata ako qualified sa bridging kasi last exp ko as a nurse was last Nov 2010 pa. 1yr and 10months lang. last 5 yrs pa yun.

    -any advice kymme???

@khurama depende kasi un sa budget mo. nkpag lodge ka na ba? kasi mgtatanong sila dun sa form kung bakit ng marketing ka instead of nursing. and u need to have a satisfying answer pra ma consider as GTE at pra ma grant visa

and dun sa brdiging, sabi nila, at least 2 years exp dw.

for me, mas mganda pg aged care or disability kunin pra un experience mo dun as carer, bka ma count un as experience. un ang gnwa ng mga kakilala ko.

but in the end, ikw pa rin mg decide kung ano gusto mo. make sure it makes u happy :)

di pa ako nakapag-lodge - pero ready na Docs ko - meron din kasing agency na makakatulong saken para gumawa ng letter/form kung bakit marketing ang kukunin ko - pero after hearing the advice of my friend na nasa aussie, pati advice mo and parents ko, i think age care 3 kukunin ko Kymme.

-may alam ka ba na magandang school sa Brisbane for BN Kymme? yung pwede akong maka pag work while studying? plano ko kasing mag BN after age care.

mas mganda kc pg related ung kunin mo dun sa education background mo dito. mgagamit mo yan pg mg apply na tayo ng PR. di ako kabisado sa brissy kc perth ako e. ang as long as ur on student visa, we can work 40 hours/fortnight and unlimited hours on school break :)

Kung wala kang cert 3 or 4, typically kapag 2nd or 3rd year na mga BN cinoconsider nila for a job as PCA. It is the prerogative of the manager o company rules.

Medyo malaking gamble yung wala kang initial funds tapos tingin mo makakahahanap ng work within the first 3-6 months. Kung hindi ka magtiyatiyaga within the first 3-6 months usually hindi lalapit yung work sa iyo.

I'm not discouraging you pero meron talagang nagco-course to course. Meron din naman na nakakayanan from aged care to enrolled nursing to registered nurse. O from aged care straight to nursing.

Make sure you factor in work, expenses, nursing requirements and visas para sa goal mo.

Why make a complicated choice such as this?

    @kymme

Pwede ko po mag bridging. Just so you know, accepted ng AHPRA ang volunteer so long as it says that you work as a "registered nurse". Even if you read AHPRA back and forth, walang terms doon na kailangan paid ka nag work. Paid experience matters with DIBP not AHPRA.

I would highly recommend that you take bridging or conversion course.

@revsky the ielts score would actually depende sa school. some requires an all 7, some at least 6.5, or an overall band score of 7. depende lang talaga un sa school. i suggest u need to seek a counsellor pra di masyado mahirapan sa requirements and processing. there are counselores for free. as in my case, sa IDP Philippines ako lumapit and it was really smooth. and dpat process ahead of time kasi some papers or requirements require a long time to process
