been exchanging a few messages with Migration Global Assistance, but thought of maybe you guys can guide me as well.

turning 2 years plng work exp ko by oct2015..
pero eto assesment nila sken:
30 – AGE (Between 25 - 32 years old)
10 – ENGLISH (Required to passed the IELTS – International English Language Testing System. Minimum of 7.0)
0 – With a minimum of (Sep 2015 – present)
15 – Qualification equivalent to Australian Bachelor Degree
5 – NEW SOUTH WALES Sponsorship available 2015 – 2016 Skill Occupation List
60 points – TOTAL

meron ako nabasa dito sa forum na nagbabawas daw ng work exp yung ACS. panu yun? at maapektuhan kaya ako?

I'd like to be in Oz like u guys. please guide me.

@leentek yes, not just ACS but all accessing bodies( newly implemented)...the accessing body will determine when you really deemed skilled in your nominated occupation..since naka 60 ka na without points sa work experience, try to check with your assessing body what is the required number of years work experience to gain positive outcome of your skill assessment.The most important now is to gain a positive skill assessment. You can also increase your points by improving your english test score(max 20 points if 8 in all subtest)

@fgs according to MGA, 2 years daw required number of work experience.
how else can i gain a positive assessment?
i would just like to make sure na positive yung results, kasi sayang din nman yung gagastusin.

@leentek refer to the requirements of your assessing body(ACS)..if two years is enough to gain positive assessment then you can push through your visa application, di ka nga kang makaclaim points for work experience kasi min 3 years required for a 5 points sa points test...

@leentek check ACS website and read about the skills migration assessment. Do a self assessment kung ano ang swak sa current experience mo. Ano ang School mo if I may ask, gumawa ako ng excel file dati nilagay ko lahat ng major subjects ko and chineck ko kung andun ba sa required subjects for developer programmer...

Tapos I agree with @guenb, kung sa tingin mo may pag-asa ka, submit it on october para sakto 2 years ka, Malay mo 2 years lang ideduct sayo - wala ka lang makuhang points experience. Pero malas mo kung irequire ka ng ilang years para masatisfy mo ang suitability criteria.

If you think that will work, mura lang naman ang magpa-assess and worth it naman kapag pumasa ka

Also, kung makakuha ka ng positive assessment. Mag IELTS ka na and aim for 8 sa lahat ng sub tests para maka 20 points ka. Di ka na dadaan ng State sponsorship

sa Mapua po school ko. sabi ng agency, equivalent nman daw sa australian bachelor degree.
nakapagtake na din ako IELTS last year (7, 7, 7.5, at 8 nga lang score ko)

sa october ko pa din tlaga balak magpasa sa ACS, after obtaining 2yrs work exp.

sige, ichecheck ko yung ACS website..check ko kung andun yung required subjects.

I suggest wag ka na mag agency.. mas mapapamahal gastos mo, madali lang kung ikaw mismo ang magaasikaso.

i also agree with @J_Oz aim for band 8 sa lahat ng sub tests, pag nareached mo ang 60 pts apply for visa 189 na.

Hi I'm a software developer here in the Philippines, planning to apply for Visa 189 din under Developer Programmer, question ko pano ba nila bina-validate ang work experience I started way back 2007, ano ba kailangan nila sa ACS enough ba ung COE lang? kailangan ba nagbabayad ng SSS mo ung mga companies mo before?

@louieg there is a separate thread for ACS, sobrang helpful yon backread lang. and yong site ng ACS sobrang simple lang...

but to answer your question, Dapat full time employment (40 hours), paid, and better kung nagbabayad kasi magagamit mo un as supporting doc... bakit pala walang sss? gsis?

Hi J_Oz I worked for an Australian Company here in Manila as proof siguro i can show them my COE and the letter of request they sent to embassy when they sent me to Australia for a week visit to discuss the requirements and show some prototype. Consultant status pinili ko kasi less tax ang laki na kasi nakakahinayang napupunta lang sa gobyerno natin at nakukurakot. more than 6mos na ako sa kanila, when I when to australia I realized na magandang opportunity and gusto ko dun isama ung family ko.

@guenb ittry ko yang mag-ielts ulet..kung sakali ba na mas mababa sa current scores ko na (7, 7, 7.5, 8) and makuha ko, pwede ba na yung higher set of scores din ipresent ko? hehe

@leentek wag ka kabahan sa ACS. Tapos ung sa IELTS naman kung ano ung mas mataas na result yun ang gamitin mo haha ilalagay naman un sa EOI e..

I started gathering my requirements specifically yung related sa Developer Programmer experience. Pero I saw sa requirement di lang pala basta COE lang kailangan dapat may mga supporting documents and job description details din.

Paano ginawa nyo dito? medyo marami kasi yung sakin dahil madalas ako magtransfer to another job, IT madali kasing lumipat lalu na pag may mas malaking offer.

@leentek mukhang mgkksabay pa tayu, mg re-take ako ng ielts October. Mag EOI sana last week ng October. Yes depende sayo kung anung result ggmitin mo, as long as di pa lumagpas ng 3years.

• the name and position of the person authorised to sign the employment reference should
be typed or stamped below that person’s signature;
• the contact telephone number of the person writing the reference should be included in
the letter;
• the letter should indicate the exact period of employment (including whether permanent or
temporary, full or part-time), position(s) held, main duties undertaken and the salary earned
– positions should not be described by generic titles (eg. research officer, public servant)
but according to the nature of the duties undertaken (eg. research chemist, accounts
clerk); and
• a payslip from your current employment should also be included – this is especially
important from applicants working in government departments.
2. For you to receive these points, documentary evidence should be included with your
application.
3. Your relevant Assessing Authority may also be able to provide an opinion on your employment
claims.
