Hi! Anyone here who is a registered pharmacist here in the Philippines applying for a student visa in Australia?

    Hi! I just applied for a student visa but I will be taking Nursing. What course do you plan to take?

    Feb 2016 - BS Nursing (Graduate Entry 2yr Program)
    Oct 2016 - employed as nursing assistant with agency
    Jan 2017 - employed as nursing assistant at public hospital
    Dec 2017 - received AHPRA registration
    Dec 2017 - granted Temporary Graduate Visa (485)
    Dec 2017 - took PTE to increase points for PR application (Superior 1st take)
    Jan 2018 - job hunt for RN Positions/awaiting for ANMAC assessment for PR application
    Feb 2018 - ANMAC assessment approved/EOI 189 (70pts) and applied for 190 SA state nomination
    Mar 2018 - ITA 190 SA (70pts), visa lodge, attaching documents
    Apr 2018 - commence work as RN

    @GoldSeeker Certificate in Business and advanced diploma in leadership and management. STill waiting for my letter of offer. Do you have a letter of offer na?

    Yup, I was granted a visa already.

    Feb 2016 - BS Nursing (Graduate Entry 2yr Program)
    Oct 2016 - employed as nursing assistant with agency
    Jan 2017 - employed as nursing assistant at public hospital
    Dec 2017 - received AHPRA registration
    Dec 2017 - granted Temporary Graduate Visa (485)
    Dec 2017 - took PTE to increase points for PR application (Superior 1st take)
    Jan 2018 - job hunt for RN Positions/awaiting for ANMAC assessment for PR application
    Feb 2018 - ANMAC assessment approved/EOI 189 (70pts) and applied for 190 SA state nomination
    Mar 2018 - ITA 190 SA (70pts), visa lodge, attaching documents
    Apr 2018 - commence work as RN

    @GoldSeeker Congratulations! I received my letter of offer already. Sa tuition fees payment ako medyo tagilid ngayon kase gusto ng Canberra Institute of Technology bayaran ko ng full yung semester 1 2016 and bayaran ang non-refundable semester 1 2018 full payment. Please let me know if may alam kang lending agency or institution na pwede mag pahiram.

    Sorry, pero wala akong lending agency na alam. Marami ako nakikita nagpopost dito. Try to go through other threads na lang. Tanong ko lang if you will be taking the KAPS exam? :)

    @GoldSeeker yep, will take the KAPS exam. either late this year or early next year. you? may mga kaibigan ako sa sydney na registered pharmacists na dun. yung dalawa may sarili ng pharmacy dun, hehe.

    Registered Nurse Nec

    06/15 - touchdown Oz
    07/15 - start of classes (Bachelor in Nursing)
    05/16 - passed OET (after 4 failed attempts with IELTS and PTE)
    07/16 - finished uni
    07/16 - received AHPRA Australian Registered Nurse rego
    08/16 - student visa 500 (Diploma)
    10/16 - started working as an RN

    07/09/17 - Submitted EOI for State Nom Vic with 60points

    I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

    hello kamusta po ang mga pharmacist.. kaway kaway. ako siguro after 2yrs pa after mag aral ng asawa ko sa ngayon hanap muna ako work. san po kayo sa sydney?

    @GoldSeeker Hello, I am also a pharmacist planning to take up Nursing. It's so nice to hear that your visa got approved. Hindi ba nila naquestion why you are taking another course not related to your degree?
