Thanks!

    hello! sorry na busy :D
oo nkalagay po entry date dapat sa grant letter. ung samin here sa uae 3mnths lng police clearance pro ang entry date based sa expiration ng NBI. wla ako nabasa so far na ung na follow s ung validity ng police clerance abroad its usually NBI which is one yr from issue date. Dec4 2016 in our case :Dhope this helps!

Hello everyone! question lang po sa may idea to get Dubai PCC, how can I get a fingerprint card here in Philippines? throught NBI ba? and the attestation ba ng UAE Embassy in Philippines pwede ng isend through mail (e.g LBC etc). How many days po makakuha ng response sa Dubai police? Thanks po sa sasagot.

If you are no longer a resident of the UAE, you need to get your fingerprint card from the country you are residing in and have it attested by the UAE Embassy there. A fingerprint card is an official report from the police department concerned, which verifies the identity of a person based on his biometrics and decimal fingerprint. Then, you can send your request for PCC online to Ministry of interior- UAE or to Dubai Police along with the following documents:
•fingerprint card approved by the UAE Embassy
    •two recent passport-sized photographs
•a copy of your valid passport
•a copy of your last UAE visa
    •the reason for the application.

@archdreamchaser (I posted this on another immig forums, so I'm tweaking it a bit)

Re: Dubai PCC if applicant is in Manila/Philippines.

    https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/wps/portal/home/services/individualservicescontent/goodconductcertificatecatalog

The online form is linked above. To download the fingerprint card, there's a link in the online form under "Biometric Card Photocopy". Print it back-to-back on a very thick sheet of paper (as thick or thicker than your regular index card).

Now for the fingerprints, there's 3 things you need to do:
    1) Make sure your fingerprints are taken by an authorized person.
    2) After 1, it needs to be authenticated by your country's Foreign Affairs department.
    3) After 2, it needs to be authenticated by the UAE Embassy in your country.

Step 1: Head over to PNP Crime Laboratory, Fingerprint Div. Camp Crame, Quezon City and bring the following:

    - Passport
    - ITA(although di naman hiningi, just in case lang)
    - 2 nos passport-sized photos
    - 200 PHP for the fingerprinting services (bring extra in case nagbago yung fees)
    - Dubai Fingerprint Card printed on a thick sheet of paper.

Taking of fingerprints will take at least an hour or more (if there are lots of applicants). I'm not writing here the whole process, just follow the PNP personnel's instructions during that day. At the end of the day, you should have an accomplished fingerprint card duly-authenticated by PNP.

Step 2: Go to a DFA satellite office that does UAE document authentication ("red ribbon"). In my case, I went to Megamall DFA Satellite Office. Bring your PNP-authenticated fingerprint card to have it "red-ribboned" . Pay a certain amount of fee (I forgot). Then, come back to get the DFA-authenticated fingerprints on the stated collection date.

Step 3: Upon collection of your "red-ribboned" fingerprint card, you now need to send it to the UAE Embassy here in the Philippines thru DHL. You need to pay some fees. Btw, there's already one inside the DFA Megamall. The process takes at least a week. Now it's up to you whether you want to self-collect in DFA Megamall, or have DHL send it to your own preferred mailing address.

When all things are settled, you need to send your (PNP+DFA+UAE Embassy) authenticated fingerprint card, 2 nos. of passport-sized pics, your payment receipt (for good measure), passport photocopy and previous UAE residence visa passport page photocopy to:

    Criminal Investigation Department
    Good Conduct Certificate Section
    Dubai Police Headquarters
    P.O. Box 1493, Dubai, UAE

I chose DHL again, placed all of these in one envelope/folder, and marked clearly on the outside 'To: CID Good Conduct Certificate Section', 'Re: Police Clearance Certificate Application' and lastly my reference no. My documents arrived around after a week I think.
Upon receiving my documents, they sent the PCC via email the next day.

    Hope it helps.

@archdreamchaser no prob. Btw pag may expired Emirates ID ka supposedly mas madali kasi may fingerprint records ka na. And yung SPF, mali yun lol. Yung ITA dalhin mo just in case. Nung pumunta kasi ako sa PNP sabay ako nagpafingerprint for Dubai PCC and Singapore PCC.

    Sobrang thank you sir.

@archdreamchaser yung spf stands for Singapore Police Force. Ignore that kasi that was for my Singapore police clearance. I’ve edited my instructions to remove that to avoid any confusion.

During my time in Dubai, EID wasn’t introduced yet, that is why I had to send a hardcopy of my fingerprints to Dubai Police. In your case, as far as I know, when you fill out the Dubai PCC online application form (linked in my instructions), you can select “with Emirates ID” and input accordingly. Supposedly, mas mabilis na method yan kasi di mo na kailangan magsend ng fingerprints at dumaan sa mahabang proseso sa post ko—- kasi may fingerprint record ka na when you applied for your Emirates ID. In fact, you should be able to get your PCC via email in less than 3 days with that method. Unfortunately, I can’t give you precise instructions on that one kasi I had to go through the “long” method.

I see.. so pwede ko pala itry if ever may EID ako although expired na sya since 2016 pa un.
Pero possible nga na if may EID may record parin ako kahit wala na ako sa UAE. I will verify and consider your second option.

Thank You sir.. Sobrang helpful mo po. Mostly kasi natanungan ko still in UAE kaya iba yun way nila to get the PCC. Anyway Thanks ulit and God Bless:)

Yes sir. Try mo mas mabilis at cheaper way yan kasi you don't have to go through additional fees (authentication, courier). Yung DHL services pa lang magastos na. I'm quoting an instructional post from that thread.
    Hello Guys,

I would like to share my personal experience in getting police certificate for UAE. I never expected that the process is so simple and it costs 320 AED only. You should have your Emirates ID # with you which you held when you were a resident there ( doesn´t matter if it has expired)

    1. Go to Dubai Police Website www.dubaipolice.gov.ae
    2. Go to Services -> More
    3. Click On Police Clearance Certificate
    4. Click Access Service
    5. Select 'Outside UAE' in 'I am located?' section
    6. Fill out all other information and in "Do you have Emirates ID" section, select "Yes" and then input your
Emirates ID which you used to hold while you were a resident there.
    7. Upload your Passport, Photo and Residency Page Copy
    8. Click Next
    9. Enter your Address (Can be your current address in any country)
    10. Enter Payment details. Card being used should be a GCC card.

Thats it. One the payment is submitted, you will get certificate in your email in 1-2 days. They cross-check your information using Emirates ID number.

    I hope it helps.
Hope it works out for you in the end. FYI, you can also pay using non-GCC cards. I was able to use my BDO debit card to pay. All the best.

@sicntyrd Wow! Glad I saw this thread. Sobrang thank you po sharing your experience in obtaining dubai police clearance. I myself is in similar situation with archdreamchaser, im out of uae already and here now in Philippines for an extended vacation. My EID card just recently expired end of December 2018. I'll try and do the above procedure although i haven't got any ITA yet. Is it wise to do this obtaining the dubai police clearance at this early period? I'm still in the vetassess assessment stage. Thanks again and God bless you.

@DreamerA Should be the same. But, before that go over their website kung nagbago ba yung procedure. I think it would be best to have the fingerprints done and be ready for shipping before you complete the online application. Because after paying, I received an email from them asking for my fingerprints. I used that address before and dumating naman fingerprints ko via DHL.

@Pinoy_Imphotep, check the Dubai police website for the procedure, kung may EID ka mabilis lang, so better get PCC later pag may ITA ka na. 3 months lang kasi validity ng PCC.

for verification, please check their website.
