To lodge or not to lodge on July 1, 2016, that is the question.

Guys ano sa tingin niyo? Which is better? Mag-lodge na ba ako before July 1 para lumang rules o sa July 1 na lang kasi "simpler" daw ang application sabi sa website ng aussie. Kaso ung nakalist na kailangan na annual income ng sponsor (parents) dapat daw AUD60K.

Please help.

Niner. I called AMS office and ask about the subclass 500 financial requirement they said that I need to go to their office for my application to be assess again based on the new visa requirement.

@kthrnml accdg to my agent my mga options ka pagdating sa financial requirements. 1st option is if u already have the sum of money for the 12 mos living costs/tuition. 2nd option is if you dont have the show money yet then you have to provide evidence that you can acquire an income of 60kaud/yr and the only sponsor for that option is spouse or parents. and my agent also advised to lodge on july bec of faster processing.

I did some research too.Anyone is free to correct me. So subclass 500 have two categories the lower risk and the higher risk just like the assessment levels. The lower risk is like the subclass 573 SVP which doesn't require a show money just a declaration that the person going have the financial capacity to support his/her studies. Subclass 573 is for those getting a bachelor, doctoral ets degree. With this visa, my expenses include the following one term tuition, travel expenses, oshc and other expenses prior to lodging of visa. On the other hand, for those with higher risk includes those who will take vocational courses,bridging for nurses etc which is subclass 572 that requires the living cost for 12 months(show money),travel expenses etc.

For me halos parehas lang ang Subclass 500 dun sa mga lumang subclasses. So i think there is no difference if you lodge your visa before July 1 or after July 1 as long as you meet the requirements including the most dreaded FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT.

Hi i just talk to my counselor, she said that regardless of your past visa assessment for example for me I was assessed as a subclass 573 which doesn't requires me show money but for the new subclass 500 I am now required to have the show money. Nakakalungkot po so to anyone here that was assess as a subclass 573 SVP you should now start lodging for your visa.

as per my agent naman, you just have to provide a bank certificate. no history is needed daw.

Hi guys, I'm applying for Feb intake, masters degree in QLD. I haven't talked to my agent as well with regards to the changes but I'm hoping this is just made simpler application and would not require a lot of financial docs. IMO po mas advantage sana sa atin noon un SVP. Because regardless of the University as long as they offer an SVP eligible program, We are not required to show any proof of funds. Unlike ngayon if mababa assessment level ng University na applyan mo, you're required to show funds. Share ko lang itong tool na ito https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Stud/education-providers . Just look for your educational institution then click the passport you hold. Lalabas dun un mgging checklist mo.

Ask ko lang po if ever we need to show funds. Bank certificate lang ba or Bank statement for a month or past 3 mos. po ba? Thanks sa sasagot

And un mag provide ng funds, pde ba kahit friends or relative e.g. uncle or in-laws? or need ba dapat immediate family member? I'm planning to lodge around September for Feb.2017 intake. Feeling ko kasi msydo pang experimental pg ngyon July agad eh

Hi guys!

I need help/advice po.

Suppose to be July 2016 intake ako sa Kent Melbourne. Nag lodge na ako nang Visa ko nung 1st week May at na acknowledge na po pero nagka problema ako sa Medical Test ko. I was advised para mag undergo nang further examination kasi may scar ang lungs ko. So required nila na mag Sputum Culture. If based sa 8weeks for the result, expected ko lalabas result the latest mga 3rd Week July. Tapos sabi sa Nationwide Cebu will go another Xray sa July 30. Take note na ang class ko po is July 11.

I know na di na ako aabot for July intake. Pero the school naman meron November intake which is yon ang next plan ko is mag deferred ng application ko mga 2nd week sa July.

Question ko po ay since may revision sa visa regulation effective July 1, 2016. At lodged na visa ko. Ma affected ba ang application ko? I mean, ang application ko ba ay mag follow sa NEW regulation nila kasi nga after July 1 na ako mag defer nang application ko.

By the way, Bachelor of Business pala ako. (SVP 573)

Starting July 1, Option 1, I think need na ng show money, computation nasa website nila. Kailan ug covered 1 yr cost of living, tuition, plane ticket etc. roughly na-compute ko dapat mga 2M showmoney.
Option 2 need mo provide documents (ITR ng sponsor) that proves na kumikita ang sponsor mo ng 60K AUD/yr.

@dmzed try mo lang po apply earlier, Feb din intake ko pero mag-lodge na po ako July. Mahirap na baka magka-problema sa other requirements.

@kthrnml true need ko na ng show money roughly 19,830 aud x 35 pesos plus other expenses like the tuition,oshc, ticket and other expenses prior to visa processing

@eunofficial hi try mo magask sa kht anong agency kung affected ka nung new visa policy. I hope your not included since you are now required to have a show money

@dmzed hi about the provider of the funds you just need that the show money required is in your account hindi nman siguro itatanong kung how or where you got the money.

Sa SSVF po ang naka-streamline na application are those students that associated with the LOWEST IMMIGRATION RISK. Dito po ang kailangan declaration lang.

"This means these students will generally be able to satisfy us of their financial capacity by providing a declaration. We will however retain the discretion to seek further evidence where appropriate."

Mag sponsor? Hindi na pwedeng kahit sino, diba?
