batmanbatman Darwin AustraliaPosts: 3,520Member, Moderator
Hi All,

I just want to share this very good news for all who are planning to have their assessment done with CPA Australia.

First. MPA assessment is free.
after the assessment outcome you need to activate your account for you to be an associate member. pay 290 for one year membership or 145 for half year membership
Once associate member you can have migration assessment (I Just had mine) it cost me nothing.

@joyiejolie I joined as member first before my migration assessment thinking that it will be faster for them to assess my bachelors degree and skilled employment. But it will be the same 15 working days processing. Although other member here in forum their assessment takes 1 month. I just received my migration assessment and they have an offer of free assessment for membership. I don't know if they only offer this to those who have the migration assessment.

Wow.. kahit as assoc member ka pa lang and hindi ka pa magtake ng cpa exam.

So confirm ko lang. Before magpassess for 189, pwede magapply muna for associate member.

    Thank you so much

@joyiejolie applying for assoc member has no relation with 189 visa.
yes you can be a member and you can only get free migration assessment if you paid full year membership.

Hello everyone, this is my first post here in Pinoy AU forum :)
Tsaka ano ba yung 'Original colour scans of 100 points of identification)'?

    Thanks

I Just want to share my experience with CPA Australia assessment:

Processing time as per them is 15 working days. after 15 working days may karapatan kayo mag follow up.

Nag pa assess ako for membership sa kanila. Hindi ako siningil ng assessment fee. Di ko alam kong free.

Nag activate ako ng membership sa knila 290 ang fee for one year. I paid 145 kasi half year na lang covered.

I paid half year membership. hindi ako pinag bayad ng system nila. pero after 10 days of submitting my documents I received an e mail na dapat magbayad daw ako kasi only full year member ang libre. dahil nag mamadali ako nag bayad na lang ako at di muna nakipag diskusyon sa glitch ng system nila.

mentioned the 3 instances na mali mali sila. which includes the delay with my assessment. after 30 minutes I received my assessment.15th day is Aug 19, I received my result Aug 22-after the long e mail follow up.

    Hi to all!

Baka lang po may makatulong dito, since sa CPAA din po ako magpapa-assess, but more of immigration ang concern ko.

New member here. Magtanong lang po ako regarding sa COE, nangyari din po sa akin kasi na ung employer nagalit sa akin, in effect ayaw din ako bigyan ng COE, and worse, lahat ng co-worker ko pinagbawalan na bigyan ako ng help like recommendation letters, or anything to testify for me. Ngayon po ang plan ko is I will make Self-Statutory Declaration, with the following supporting documents:
    - Bank Statement
    - Company ID
    - Payslips (even though I am the preparer si I assume weak evidence siya)
    - Employment Contract
    - Form 2316 (ITR, again, ako ang nkapirma on behalf of my boss)
    - BIR Form 1604CF (again, ako ang nkapirma on behalf of my boss, even though may attachment ne BIR acknolwedgement receipt from email), with alphalist
    - SSS, PHIC and HDMF Contributions List (to prove na nging employers ko tlga sila, PHIC and HDMF still pending)
    - Resignation Letter
    - Summary of Compensation and Allowances (self-made reconciliation since ung amount per bank statement n nka-reflect is may kasamang allowance, so kelangan ma-trace ung part ng salary per payslip)

When I inquired sa notary (ung sa Cityland sa likod ng PBCom), usually daw ang stat dec is prepared by someone and usually daw co-worker. I am having issues with this as I said, mhihirapan ako mg-ask ng help kht sa former co-workers ko.

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I am not sure if things has changed but 5 years ago my wife issued herself a statutory declaration (or affidavit ata as it is know in PH) that list down her job description, responsibility, etc... In the doc she mentioned that the reason she cannot get COE from company nor get any statement from previous manager.

    EMPLOYER TESTIMONIAL
For employment claims to be recognised for skilled employment, you must provide a signed testimonial from your employer that includes:

    • the official letterhead of the employing business. The letterhead should indicate clearly the full address of - the business and any telephone, email and website addresses
    • the name, position, signature, contact number and direct work email of the person authorised to sign the testimonial. References from your colleagues at the same level or below won’t be considered
    • the direct work email address and contact number of the individual writing the reference. Personal phone numbers or addresses won’t be accepted
    • specific start and end dates of your employment history. Multiple roles within the same organisation must be listed separately, with specific start and end dates. Please specify all dates in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY
    • the duties or responsibilities undertaken in each role. These must be written in your employer’s own words and be relevant to your daily and monthly tasks/responsibilities. Generic job descriptions or tasks copied from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) occupation definitions won’t be accepted
    • whether your role/s were permanent or temporary
    • your working hours per week
    • the salary you earned.

    Hello.

For those who had their skills assessment with CPA Australia, what kind of document did you provide for their curriculum requirement? Would the downloadable version on my school's website suffice? Or does it need to be a customized document (i.e., should also contain my name, the year/semester when I took each subject)?
