MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST/ PATHOLOGY: CURRENT SITUATION OF PINOY MLS AND FURTHER STUDIES.

Hi mga kabayan!

I just need your opinion/ advice/ thoughts especially from those na Med.Tech/ Med. Lab. Scientist/ from pathology (or from any other field) who worked back home and/ or currently working here in Australia either in pathology or any other field!

>Gaano kalala/ true na sobrang hirap na for immigrant like us to find a scientist job here kahit na qualified kayo as "scientists" by AIMS?

>I'm planning to go back to school in the near future (like a master's degree related to MLS), but since ang dami ko naririnig na hindi masyadong magandang balita about scientists not getting their desired/ more stable position after post graduate, I'm now considering to undertake new study course (health sciences only like pharmacy, psychology etc) as my back up plan. Can anyone suggest an alternative study course/ pathway that will guarantee a more stable/ rewarding/ fulfilling job at the end?

P.S. *I'm planning to take an AIMS exam next year.
*I'm gathering important information as much as I can before making any life-changing decision (so I won't waste precious resources and my time lol!)
*Please, feel free to comment/ share your experiences either here or in private message, nag sstart plang kasi ako mgresearch about these things since lately lang ako nkkarinig about the current situation of MLS here.

***Sorry sa haba ng post and thanks in advance! ;-) <3 :-)
