Hello po,
So mag initial entry po ako sa January 2013. So nagbook na po ako ng flight. May message po na ganito. Pwede po ba pakilinaw na dapat in 2 days pupunta ako doon sa office ng Qantas sa Manila?

"After you have completed your booking you will need to visit our office below within two working days for credit card and signature verification. Your ticket will be issued once your credit card has been sighted."

Kaso po andito ako sa U.S. po, paano yun? May nakaexperience na ba ng ganto? Napaka-inconvenient talaga sa atin.

    @PogingNoypi it happened to me before for singapore air... i paid for someone's ticket.. MLA-UAE.. pero nasa UAE ako... so i called the UAE ofc if i can just visit their UAE ofc (since nasa UAE nga ako).. pumayag naman..

    so check if you can do the credit card verification in their US sales office..

    @PogingNoypi, na-experience ko yan pero I booked from Oz. I rang the Qantas helpline at na ok nila. Maybe try mo tumawag sa Qantas customer service sa Oz?

    There has to be a way around to this! Don't stress yourself too much, worst case if that lost revenue yun sa kanila and it can never be your fault.

    @PogingNoypi - yung message lumalabas lang if you're flying fr MNL. So I'm assuming from US uuwi ka muna sa MNL then flying to Oz.

    If this is so, then don't stress kasi di problema yun.

    Ring Qantas Manila, tell them you're o/s and coming back on a certain date.... They will hold that booking for you until you can report to their office. Nangyari na rin kasi yan sa akin kasi nag book ako 1 year in advance, but naayos with one phone call, no dramas.

    Nalito ako sa una kong reply, I thought you bought the ticket for someone else, and you're not coming to Manila. Nag halo-halo yung response sa isip ko, another senior moment....

    The only prob I can see is baka too close yung date na pag uwi sa Pinas, pero if Dec ka uuwi palagay ko ok lang yun.

    I booked for 2 tickets for my mom and mom-in-law last August with Qantas PH. Yun message na pinakita to pickup yun ticket at the office sa Makati is for credit card verification, old school pa kasi sa atin. After nila ma-verify, ibibigay na sa inyo yun ticket. Make sure lang na yun actual card owner ang pupunta to claim yun tickets.

    Hi tanung ko lang baket sa airlines office ka pa bumili ng itinerary eh madami nman travel agency dyan. Dapat sana nag inquire ka sa travel agency dyan at dyan ka na lang bumili ng eticket or itinerary

    The best is baka puede i cancel ang booking mo kasi nasa US ka tutal baka months pa naman ata schedule ng flight mo baka magbabayad ka ng penalty fee. Tawagan mo rin ang bank ng credit card mo kung puede i cancel ang payment ng ticket.

    sis, best talaga na tawagan mo yung airline and explain yung situation mo bago ka ma-stress out...hehe. merong way yan..
    dito sa Middle East, when i buy a ticket for a family member na nasa pinas papunta rito, may sina-submit lang ako na documentation sa airline. yung credit card copy plus passport copy ko at passport copy ng binilhan ko ng tix.

    kapag kami naman ang bumibiyahe, usually eticket naman. though pagdating sa boarding, you need to show yung credit card na ginamit mo nung bumili ka. else, hindi ka nila papasakayin... hehehe.

    Hassle yang rule ng Qantas. I tried to call the Aussie call center, sabi nila rule daw ng pinas. So try ko tawag dun sa agency, wala naman sumasagot. Qantas lang kasi meron MNL-SYD-CBR e

    20140317 - Finally got my ACT sponsorship!
    20140319 - Invited to apply (visa 190)
    20140325 - Lodged visa 190
    20140718 - Direct visa grant. IED: July 17, 2015
    20150203 - Landed in ACT :) Job hunt begins
    201510 - Started working at Woolies
    20161031 - landed a job in my field as a junior
    20180508 - landed a job in my field
