notary public - certified true copies

edited February 2011 in Working and skilled visas
hello! i am in the process of attending to all my documents. according to ACS site, words 'CERTIFIED TRUE COPY of the ORIGINAL' must clearly show on every page of the docs with the original signature, name, details of lawyers roll #, etc, ADDRESS & PHONE # of the certifying officer. how can one achieve all these details when usually rubber stamps don't include the ADDRESS & PHONE #. i wouldn't want to take the risk of sending CTC docs when some details are missing.

would anyone know where in makati or manila i can have the docs notarized with all the complete details? pls do not include the manila city hall. a doc was tried to be notarized in there, but the one who signed was only a representative of the lawyer. according to her, i should go to tondo to have the doc signed by the lawyer himself. ang labo, di ba? original signature is needed.

thank you.

hi. punta ka sa notary public. yung s akin kasi sa Vetassess, nakalagay sa instruction nila na ilagay yang lahat ng information na nabanggit mo "only if applicable". so it means kung meron lang sila. so yung sa akin ang nakalagay dun is "certififed true copy" signed by a lawyer tapos dun sa Stamp ng lawyer nandun yung roll number nya. wala ng address and phone number.

veenus, thank u for the info. pero in your case lawyer mismo ang nag sign ng doc mo? kasi marami reps lang ang pumipirma.

    salamat. ;-)

actually, i have one already just a while ago. she even issued me a certification, other than 'certified true copy from the original' stamp and her stamp complete with all details.

For Visa application, to save money and time, you dont need a CTC as long as your documents are colored scan. It is acceptable. An auto-reply to me from DIAC:

"DIAC will accept scanned copies of the original document (non-certified) provided they are in colour. If you scan documents in black and white, then they must be scanned copies of the certified copies."

hello, i also would like to ask regarding the certified true copy thing, because currently i am working in the Maldives. This week i am planning to submit my CDR to engineers australia. My only concern is the certification of the documents. I've seen one certified true copy here and it seems the stamp didn't include the roll number but with the company name, contact numbers and all. do i have to have my documents certified here or should i send these home and have it certified in the Philippines? also, are they calling the certifying party to verify that they really certified those documents? thanks.

In my case, I had my documents granted in Philippines, certified in Philippines and my documents overseas, certified overseas. I think it doesn't matter which country your documents are certified as long as they are qualified as per EngrAu criteria.

a ok thanks. This is because i am just concern with the roll number. It seems the certified true copy seals here of practicing lawyers don't have any identification numbers in it. It only include the company name, the contact numbers, e.g. fax, tel., the address, the name, position and his signature. How do you think of this? i've read the instructions in the booklet, but it never say roll number should be included, it's just that we are used to see that as per practice in the Phils. I dont know much about this so i am looking forward for your opinion guys. Thanks.

Hi anonymous. As I told you earlier, just follow the booklet. As long as you've provided what they want, then the other information are simply accessories. Don't worry. Keep the faith. hehehe. good luck.

Yeah, Las Pinas po ako. I've talked to a Notary Public here, sabi nya, she can provide me a letter for each document stating that they are certified true copies. I think thats good enough, then may seal sila to accompany the letter.

    TIA.

Hello guys, just wanna ask qng tinatawagan ba ng Engineers Australia ung law firm or ung nag certify ng documents? kasi, ung ka-office mate q sabi nia he can sign in behalf nung lawyer dun sa stamp.

Mas maganda may dry seal. at may contact number.

Sabi nga ng Immigration "The more documents you submit the better"

    The following documents are;

    01. Philippines Passport
    02. Assessment of your Philippines College degree/Career in Australia (Paki correct na lang ako)
    03. College School Records (CHED and DFA Aunthenticated)
    04. Training School Records (TESDA and DFA Aunthenticated) kung mayrun lang kayo na ganito for example mga software na enroll nyo sa mga training school.
    05. High School Records (DECS and DFA Authenticated)
    06. Elementary School Records (DECS and DFA Authenticated)
    07. IELTS (di na kailangan ipa DFA Authenticated)
    08. English Medium of Instruction (Request from Elem, High school and college, DFA Authenticated)
    09. Birth & Baptism Certificate (DFA Authenticated)
10A. Current CV or Resume attach with Certificate of Employment from first and Current Company (Certified by the legal attorney of Your City hall and DFA Authenticated) Sa Manila City hall ako nag pa Authenticated ng CV ko (CV ko lang attach with Employment certificate sa loob ng building im not sure kung 4th floor yun. tanung na lang kayo sa empleyado dun. ingat sa fixer.
10B. Australian Firm Contract (Request a copy Signed by employee and employer)
    12. Tax Certificate or income tax return from first and Current Company (Try nyo ipa DFA Authentication pero pag hindi Okay lang.
    13. Police Clearance (DFA Authenticated)
    14. NBI clearance (DFA Authenticated)

Hint; kung magsa-submit kayo ng documents ng certified true copy. maglagay kayo ng cover letter nakalagay dun ang table of content katulad ng nilagay ko number ilagay kung ilang pages in each document para maayus. at madaling makita ng CO. In each documents i stapler nyo or paper clip. then pagsamahin nyo sunud sunod lahat at lagyan ng double clip yung maliit lang. Para maayus at madaling hanapin ng CO. then puede na i courier. GOD bless

@TotoyOZResident... ah baka kaya tinanggihan nung unang nilapitan ko kasi pinapasign ko s knya as certified true copy eh di daw original yun kasi walang initial/signature... baka dapat nga pina-notarise ko lang... I'll try sa ibang notary public naman... thanks!

@aoelee Thanks sir for always being there to help. Tinignan ko po un sample nyo na COE, dun nyo na din po pala nakalagay un tasks and duties performed pati tools used? So if ganyan po ginawa namin, hindi na po kailangan ng separate document describing specific tasks and duties performed for the company?

Sana meron makapag confirm if required pa talaga elementary and high school certificates. I've already inquired sa dati ko schools, un sa elementary wala problem madali lang and mura lang fee 100+php ata. But yun sa high school Php1,000 ang fee + nanghihingi pa sila affidafit of loss. Although I admire sir TotoyOzResident kasi sobrang complete talaga ng documents na binigay niya, I'm just hoping baka meron mga nakapasa na hindi binigay lahat nun listed niya kasi yun iba dun medyo mahihirapan ako obtain.
