    Adelaide bound! Just got our visa granted April 22! We will be making our initial entry on the 2nd week of December. We will be bringing our boys (4&8). It will be our first time in Adelaide and Australia! We are excited and nervous at the same time. Is anyone vacationing in the Philippines at the time and leaving a flat behind? Our boys are well-behaved and we don't mind sharing a house. :) We're looking for somewhere temporary to live for 4-6weeks while we get our bearings. Budget is 250/week. Wala kami kilala sa Australia! Just reaching out. :) Have a great week ahead everyone!

    we received our visa grant and need to be in aus before october 12,2013...me my wife and our 3 y/o daughter..hirap lang wala kasi kame relatives dyan although meron nman kakilala former classmate. start from scratch and on our own lang talaga.

    May 3 - Nationwide Forwarded Medical Results to E-medical Systems Australian Embassy - Global Health Unit for medical clearance

    May 6 - Forwarded additional documents : Form 129 (Change of Contact Email Address for Correspondence) and other supporting docs; DIAC Office Australian Embassy Manila acknowledged Receipt

    May 28 - Re-sent Form 815 to confirm forwarding of required documents, again no receipt confirmation given

    June 4 - Received email advice informing me that my application has been finalized on 3 June and visa decision was despatched via courier Air21

    June 5 - Visa Grant Notice pack delivered

    I will be in Adelaide on Sunday until Thursday for my 3 days training course..I will be staying in Comfort Inn Haven Marina Hotel.. :-*

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

    Singit ko lang - may mababakante po na room sa house ng landlady namin. Room is fully furnished with queen sized bed, bedside tables, study desk, dresser, heater and built-in wardrobe. Linens and quilt are also provided.House is located 15-20 mins away from CBD by bus. Bus stop is located just outside the house. Landlady is Filipina and is very friendly & accommodating.     Hello there!

    hmm Oct is okay, in fact I started working 1st week of Oct 2011, then the current job which I have right now, started last week of Sept 2012. Just don't arrive here last week of Nov. But then again, depending on the demands of the job you are in, and how willing you are when in comes to accepting whatever type of jobs :)

    Although the good thing of arriving here in Jan 2014 is you dont have to worry where and how to celebrate christmas. FYI Everyone are welcome to join and celebrate Christmas with our group. hehe Masyado ako maaga mag-invite hehe.

    miss @Ren thanks a lot for the insight. I have decided to push through with my oz dream this first week of oct :) They say that the best time to migrate to oz is yesterday.
