Mga kababayan:

Hingi lang po ako ng advices or suggestions or any insights pra don sa mga nakatira na sa ACT or pra don sa mga lumipat from Sydney to ACT/ Canberra.

I'm currently living in Sydney for nearly 5 years now and I've been contemplating on relocating to other state since alam nman nating lahat that the quality of life here at Sydney ay hindi na ganong kaganda because of increasing cost of living and hindi kami makaipon and wala parin property until now. Been married to my Fil-Aussie husband for nearly 5 years as well and we're planning to have a baby next year and hopefulluy soon makabili ng property which is suntok sa buwan na lalo dto sa Sydney.

Can someone advice me how's the quality of life in Canberra? Cost of living? How easy or hard to find jobs there for labourer (hubby) and in healthcare-pathology (me)?

I don't mind the weather in Canberra, I just want a fresh start..thanks in advance! ;-)

@Aiza05 ; voted best city in the world few years back (CANBERRA) and i think it still holds true in 2017. so quality of life, no questions asked. CBR should be on your list. HOWEVER; it comes with a price (a heavy price tag).

if you are planning to buy a property, then CBR is not significantly cheaper (meaning you might still have to spend the same $$$ as if you were in Syd or Melb or Bris) but the 'value' is higher in CBR (block size, suburb development, accessibility too many to mention)

quality of life : BIG check
Family friendly: nothing compares to CBR
    cost of living : re-consider

hi @heycoachputmein ! Thank you for ur insights :-)

Will consider this in the future as my status now changed again..I got an offer from a Uni here in Sydney and decided ako mgstudy ulit so for the meantime, out of the window muna ang paglipat ng ibang state...sabi din ng friend ko na nsa canberra na ngayon na almost same lang dw ang rental prices ng unit don at dito pero mas maganda ang quality of life compare dto sa syndey since lagi pati traffic dito lol!

Pag ng kababy na kami, we might move to other state na since mahirap narin mgbuild ng family dto sa sydney..thanks again! ;-)

New SimplyStall Mobile App!

Hi everyone!

I'm very happy to announce PinoyAu Forum's new app called "SimplyStall" . It's a new Gumtree like service for Pinoys in Australia but in a way better!

So if you have any items just collecting dust? Why not convert it to cash?

If you are selling new items or products or wish to give an item away for free then this might be a good avenue for you.

This project is a new initiative to unify and have a common portal for Pinoys in Australia to sell and share stuffs.

It's now available on Google Play and Apple App Store.

Please do try it out. I'd appreciate if you can help me spread the good news and start selling your old or new stuffs.
