    Hello. Medyo matagal na po ako silent reader dito. Maghhingi lang po sana ako ng opinion niyo kung ano mas okay ko gawin.

    Currently po kasi, 65 pts na po ako sa family stream ng 489 pero based po sa nababasa ko matagal na intayan po yun. Okay po bang subukan ko pa din magfile ng eoi since maguupdate naman po yun automatically? By june po, may 70 pts na ako.

    @clairegreen you could do that pero ngayon 80+ pts lang iniinvite nila. To give you an idea, i had an eoi since sept 2017 na 70 pts na with the family points. Up to now wala pa rin invite haha

    @clairegreen oo may requirement per state, and some occupations are only available on certain states. So research talaga on all possible options.

    10 invitations lang per round kaya baka matagal-tagal na antayan kung hindi 85+ yung points.

    Why don't you try yung state sponsored na 489? Baka mas mataas chance doon. Ano po ba occupation nyo?

    Hello po! Just saw this forum at very informative about Pinoys moving/planning to go to Australia. I am in IT profession with more that 12yrs of experience in IT field. We have submitted our EOI a couple of months back for State Sponsor 489 Visa to SA.

    Gaano po ba katagal ang process at estimated ma-invite para sa 489 visa? I have 65pts in total and had visited Australia last year with my family. 71pts sa PTE which I took last Sept 1, 2018.

    @mister.hyde im on different field so not much familiar. If you go to seek. Com. Au you can find. Dont worry much. If its meant to be it will be. I waited sometime as well to get our visa and all. Akala ko no chance na until i tried regional area in Darwin. If you have the skills set u can get a job. One step at a time. Get the visa first tsaka na job. Madali na lang yun pag my right to work and live here na.

    @mister.hyde sa mga regional hindi ganun kadaming IT work pero meron naman. if magkaron ka ng visa you have to be flexible sa work na maging open ka to other jobs kung talagang gusto mo agad magkawork. iba iba kasi experience ng bawat isa dito meron na mabilis nakahanap ng work sa field nila meron naman natagalan but mostly naman dito nakakahanap or nakakabalik sa field na gusto nila.

    @Hunter_08 I don’t mind taking up other jobs sir. Sanay naman ako. Pero, in your opinion may kukuha sakin eventhough wala ako experience on related field? Example: waiting tables?

    @mister.hyde uhm sa mga resto/bar mostly likely need nila ng exp. maski nga cleaner dito hinahanapan ng experience. kapag may kakilala ka sa loob mas mabilis ka makakapasok maski wala kang experience. mahalaga dito yung connections. ako nag start ako as laborer kasi maski cleaner/dishwasher medyo mahirap dahil wala akong exp. pero hindi ako tumigil sa pag aapply for IT job at tuwing may interview nag absent ako hanggang sa nakahanap ako ng related sa field ko. for me okay din nag start talaga sa mababa para ma appreciate mo yung work mo talaga at para hindi din maubos yung dalang pocket money. :D
