Am I Qualified Enough?

Hi! I am really interested in migrating to Australia and work. More than 4 years na ako nagtatrabaho sa IT field. 4 years as Technical Support sa agency, then 8 months as Network Specialist. Same company, na-absorb lang from agency and nagchange ng job title. Trying to get CCNA din, hopefully, this year meron na.

Any tips po para mas malaki ang chance ko makakuha ng working visa?

In your case since ICT ka magfafall most likely, ACS will be assessing your skill but make sure that your course in college is similar to your job now. If not, then you need at least 6 more years of work experience. Good luck!

Look into ICT customer support officer, you might also fall under this. If that's the case you need to liaise with TRA.

@bcura1 sir I suggest you start with determining muna what occupation or anzscode best suit your work experience before you proceed. But since section 2 ka, there's a possibility na mababa yun points mo for educational qualification (10 pts lang vs 15 pts of section 1 schools). So if ganun, kelangan mo talagawa bumawi sa work experience and then english certification. There are agencies also that provide free assessment to determine if may chance ka to migrate, and what track/subclass if ever.

@lack14 yes sir. Ganun din ang tingin ko sir. Kailangan atleast superior ang grade sa english and atleast 5 years sa work experience. Tama ba sir?

yup and papaassess ka din so you will know how many points macclaim mo for work experience. I suggest that you try to look for other forum members with same school and course mo na nagpaassess na so you have an idea an result nila - that is if wala ka pa budget magpaassess.

@bcura1 sir from sec 2 school here. Assessment sakin closely related yung course ko, pero 5 years experience deducted. Mejo risky pa yung 4+ years na experience kasi baka maging unsuitable pa yung result.

@agd safe na ba ang 5 - 6 years sir? by next year 1st qtr kasi 5 years na ako sa work ko, then apply ako by november or december next year

@bcura1 6 years should be safe sir basta related ang course mo sa job experience mo. Pero saktong sakto lang to. Yung sakin, inantay ko muna talaga mag 6 years bago ako nagpa-assess. Also, try mo yung mga migration agent, free naman initial assessment nila

@agd yes sir. Nakapag asses na ako sa migration agent. May respall. Kaso nung january pa, so kulang na kulang ang experience ko nun, ang dami hinihingi na papers
