    Bumaba lang kasi yung demand sa langis.. but the drilling and processing of oil is still very costly

    Binawasan na rin nila ang expansions or explorations.
    Kaya nagbabawas ng tao / redundant or nag close ang mga mining services that provide equipment/services to mining.



    Exactly that's what happened to us, dami sinibak sa ibang country samin lalu na sa Land Exploration. kasi hindi kumikita. Mahina naman ang marine division dahil sa pag baba ng oil price. (less client). Hopefully mag pick up ulit ang AUD, that's primary reason why i like Australia over SG.


    indi din maganda ang takbo ng mining services dito sa Aus.

    i think it'll be retain @2.5% or decrease to 2.25 or even 2% (medyo long shot - but possibling mangyari)
    lowering interest rates will spur economic recovery as it will encourage businesses to borrow money for investment and CAPEX.

    I am actually hoping the AUD will still fall...

    Am waiting for proceeds of a small property that we are trying to sell, it is on the final stage na so hopefully it will be sold habang nasa 34 (or lower pa) ang AUD - it will will a bit in the mortgage... :)

    I am actually hoping the AUD will still fall...

    Am waiting for proceeds of a small property that we are trying to sell, it is on the final stage na so hopefully it will be sold habang nasa 34 (or lower pa) ang AUD - it will will a bit in the mortgage... :)
    ahhh.. medium term i think it'll go down, but short term tataas muna ng konti (it'll not reach the price yesterday (AUDUSD .78xx) cguro mga nasa .77xx) then bababa naulit.

    I don't think na tataas cya, as the recent RBA statement - the chairman mentioned na overvalued and AUD.

    my advise --if kailangan talaga ng money - remit na, no need to wait for a good rate.

    If ever ma done deal na yung pagbenta ng condo namin in manila - would there be anyone here who will entertain the thought of doing a kaliwaan with me? I sell my PHP and I will be buying AUD.

    We can do it at spot rate as this will always be much better than the rate being published by the remittance companies here - plus wala pa fee! :)

    Aud will probably go lower pa;( huhuhu!! Very shocking from 44-45 in 2012 to 33-34 in 2015! Good for people paying off the mortgage kasi low ung interest rates now. But bad for people sending money back home and actually both good/ bad for new migrants kasi at least ung baon goes a longer way BUT i think it also mean kasi mahina economy ng au now which means lesser job opportunities.
