  Hi Peeps, kakabalik lng namin from initial entry. Grabeh lamig haha pero naka adjust naman after ilang days. Nanibago talaga ako sa Melbourne una dating, kasi ibang ba sya sa pinas and sg. First impression ko eh medyo gloomy and depressing pero after couple of days na appreciate ko na sya! Parang ang gaan ng buhay dun, and iba pala ang feeling na hindi rushed pamumuhay mo. Ang ganda pa ng lugar nila lalo na mga parks and gardens prang everyday magpapasalamat ka sa mga ginawa ng Dyos.
  
  Sobrang mababait ng mga aussies di ko inexpect. Nabasa ko mahilig sila sa small talk eh concern ko tu dati kasi medyo uncomfortable ako sa ganun (kinda mahiyain kasi) haha pero sa experience namin eh masarap sila kausapin. Ramdam mo kasi na genuine sila and non-judgmental (hopefully). Lagi pa sila nakangiti prang walang ka issue2x sa buhay hehe.

  All I can share is wag masyado kumain sa labas, hanggat maari mag grocery at magluto nalang sa house. Kung gusto makatipid sa grocery, mag grocery sa Aldi. Try to find accommodation sa mga outer suburb na accessible by train para makatipid sa rent. Kita kits dito sa melbourne!

  @RyanJay Thanks sa advice! Oo ang mahal nga ng pagkain..pero natuwa ako kasi anlalaki ng servings! 1-2 meals good 2-3 pax na so medyo below sa budget nagastos namin.But if mag stay na talaga kami jan groceries and luto bahay gagawin namin para laking tipid!

  Thanks for sharing @persephone30! We are doing the big move on Oct 10 na. Before sobrang excited talaga pero now na malapit na e mixed emotions na (kaba, tuwa, lungkot) haha! At least medyo gumaan ang pakiramdam ko when i saw what you shared. Hopefully, we will have the same experience once we land in Melbourne.

  Na excite ako bigla...ako rin mixed emotions. Kinausap ako ng boss ko lang yesterday asking if wala na ba talaga magpapabago sa isip ko na umalis ng SG. He even asked me to apply PR in SG, sabi ko di ganon kadali now sa Sg to get the PR. All I can do now is to get ready financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I am planning to do my BIG move last week ng Summer so di mabibigla katawan ko pagdating ng Winter kasi mag autumn muna.

  Hello, ask ko lang..may offer kc wife ko sa melbourne..we really want to bring our son (mag 2 yrs old pa lang)..kaya ba? How much kaya monthly budget na dapat iallocate for a family of three including insurance since 457 lang visa assuming mga 350 per week ang rent ng place...how much kaya for the rest of the monthly expenses lalo na yung may toddler...most of the inputs we received is mauna kmi ng wife ko para makahanap rin ako ng work diyan but we wanted to hear from people who were able to bring their toddler along and was able to manage it...
