    @AspireAU21 pued mag initial entry then tsaka na mag big move, dapat lng within the 5 years na validity ng visa..regarding negative impact hindi ako sure, antay tayo ng ibang comments. ang alam ko lng mtatagalan ka maka apply for citizenship kc nga kelangan mo ma satisfy yung years na dapat andun ka sa Aus.

    @facelesshero hindi pala maganda sa NAB dun pa nman namin balak mag open ng account kc sa CBA after 12 months me maintaining balance na 2000 aud, sa NAB wala. hindi ba mahirap i maintain yung 2000aud? TIA!

    @elleb1 hi sis ok lang naman try din ang NAB no charge sya forever. Sa Commbank sis yung 2k deposit every month para di magkacharge. Pero sa isip namin in 12 months naman sihiro may work na kami hahaha positive lang. Yung ibang forumer strategy ay iwithdraw si 2K and ideposit ulit. Haha not sure if that will work

    @Captain_A hi kap! Kay pinsan kami tumutuloy pansamantala til makakuha ng work. Sa domain.au at realstate.au madaming rentals. Pero hindi sila nag aallow kung di mo muna maview personally yung bahay. Mas ok kung magdown ka ng mas maraming months para ikaw piliin ni owner, may bidding chuchu kasi sila. Owner decision pa din masusunod. Better din kung kuha ka ng recommendation sa landlord mo dito sa sg. Tas sa pinoyau melbourne madami nagpopost na kababayan natin na looking for house share.

    Temperature nun dumating kami nasa 9deg. Pero medyo umiinit na dahil spring na :)
    Syempre mas favorable environment sa melby kumpara sa sg haha. Mas friendly ang mga tao pati mga locals at laidback ang buhay.

    @elleb1 hindi pa sis. Saka nakontrata namin yung tita ko mag-alaga pansamantala. Meron din mga playschool sa melby.. sa library free, tas sa community centers below 20bucks per day. Pero 2 hrs lang yon mga 9 to 11 or 10 to 12. Laro2 lang saka socialozation. Hindi pa makagising ng maaga haha kaya di pa namin natry. Ok naman yung baby ko, thank God kasi di sya nagkakasakit dahil sa weather. Yung childcare naman nila depende sa institution medyo pricey but you can claim rebates naman. Yun din pala yong pwede maclaim ng newly arrived migrants, family tax rebate and chilc care rebate. Meron din silang rent allowance pero may mga documents na needed like tenancy agreement. :D

    GUYS kamusta na kayo? How is your checklist preparation for the big move so far?

    Here are mine to date:

    1. Resigned at work (2 weeks left, jobless na)
    2. Withdraw PAG IBIG contributions + COOP loan cheque + claim final pay
    3. Secure updated LTO license (Request ID card to follow 1.5 weeks prior actual flight)
    4. Setup Australian bank account opening
    5. Book flight ticket
    6. Complete medical check-up & dental (while Maxicare company card is still valid)
    7. Compile business clothes and shoes for AU job interviews
    8. Brush up LinkedIn CV
    9. Update laptop OS software and clean up drive contents
    10. Print documents i.e. visa grant notice letter or VEVO, passport with visa label
    11. Scout for proposed rental house and inform person of contact
    12. Have a reliable phone to insert your new aussie SIM card upon airport arrival

    Mar. 21, 2016 - PTE academic Exam Result PASSED

    Mar. 28, 2016 - Agent updated EOI. Awaiting next round of 189
    April 7, 2016 - Received NSW invite (Visa 190)
    April 13, 2016 - Received 189 invite (8:56 AM). Thank you Lord!
    May 21, 2016 - VISA fee paid to MA. DIBP application received
    May 25, 2016 - NBI clearance certificate forwarded to MA
    May 30, 2016 - 1st CO contact, Team Adelaide (Medicals asked)
    May 31, 2016 - SLEC medical exams with family. Thank you Lord!
    June 1, 2016 - Submit to agent CO request (Wife's NBI, Medicals)
    June 7, 2016 - Youngest son undergone x-ray at SLEC (2nd visit)
    June 14, 2016 - ALL family members "COMPLETED" status to DIBP on medicals
    June 29, 2016 - 2nd CO contact. Requested FORM 815 for son.
    August 4, 2016 VISA GRANT thank you LORD
    August 19, 2016 - PDOS at CFO
    October 26, 2016 - Flight to Sydney (then, fly to Western Australia)
