    @Cassey Hello! Masaya yung initial entry actually nagustuhan namin yung Sydney lalong lalo na daughter ko. Mostly zoo and parks yung pinupuntahan namin kaya enjoy cya. Masakit lng sa bulsa lalo na yung bayad sa apartment kc me kamahalan. So far me bank account na kami at nka apply na for TFN. In the future pasyalan din namin nag Melbourne :)

    @Captain_A yup nandito na ako sa Sydney since Oct last year. yup I have a casual job. hindi naman mahirap kasi single ako. Singapore ka brod noh? Nasa Singapore ako ng 30-31 May.

    @Megger Hi, oo pinahirap nila. This morning lang siya actually inannounce. Though nasa drafting stage pa lang nagsigurado sila na lahat ng applications starting today will follow the proposed changes. Maraming magiging backlog sa applications since walang set of rules as of today. Dati at least a yr of being a PR pwede na, ngayon mukhang hindi na.
    Inaaraw araw nila yung new set of rules, hehe Let's wait and see kung ano pa ang babaguhin nila.

    Applicants will have three attempts to pass the citizenship test, after three attempts their application will not be approved. Integrity measures will be adopted including the introduction of a two-year bar on making a new application after a previous application is refused.

    @Megger Yung PR visa is valid for 5yrs pero entitled tayo to stay in Au indefinitely kahit pa expire na siya. Pag expire na siya at gusto mong lumabas ng ibang bansa, kailangan kumuha ng Resident Return Visa bago ka umalis rito sa Au para makabalik ka uli. As long as nagstay ng 2yrs dito sa Au within that 5yrs madali lang daw makakuha nun. :) You're welcome, Godbless din. :-h

    @Bart_SanJose it's cumulative. Makakakuha pa rin naman ng RRV pag wala kang 2yrs dito yun nga lang 1yr lang ang ibibigay sayo as opposed to 5yrs pag nagstay ka rito sa Au for more than 2yrs.

    @Cassey @engineer20 have you known a Philippine consulate that handles and accepts passport renewal here in Perth WA? Mine and my wife shall expire on April 2018. Might as well have this applied as soon as able. I've heard from some friends here that formerly, they have their office in Perth, but now it's quite every 2 years (come July once only). Thank you.

    @jedh_g Hi, it says on the website that the Perth office is temporarily closed. You can do it in Canberra or sometimes they do have a mobile site where they go from state to state but unfortunately there's no schedule yet.

    @Cassey thanks. Hassle on going to ACT as it much expensive and time consuming for that state option. Though we don't have any travel plan to get back to Phil, I just considered as I might have work-related trips that shall be essential within mid next year. Salamat!
