@Tenchu If Internal auditor, vetassess will only count your internal auditor experience. You have to be careful though when submitting your certificate of employment and you have to provde that you are working as an internal auditor.
Assessment time for accountant is much faster compared to IA but bear in mind that accountant is one of the most "popular" profession that people apply for to emigrate here. I suppose your aim is to migrate here quicker so play your cards well.
Another thing to note, if you apply as IA there is no english requirement to get your assessment submitted to vetassess unlike with accountants english test is required

@Mia_ NSW invites applicant with higher points first. If you want to get an invitation, you have to increase your points either thru english or state sponsorship. Why NSW? Do you have family or friends that is why you applied for there?
Adelaide South Australia sponsors internal auditors in their state. They have 3yr experience requirement AND you have to have high points (80 points including state sponsorship), if you can get that then you may want to switch after July 1 once they refreshed the quotas. They currently require 85 points to get state sponsorship. If your aim is to get in oz quicker then explore other options. Adelaide process state sponsorship in within 3 weeks.

Hi everyone! Bago po ako dito sa thread, and site as well. Read this whole IA thread and found it informative and helpful. Thank you for sharing! Kaso parang advance na po discussions. Hehe.
I am yet to start anything (for visa application). My limited knowledge leads me to the following few basic questions for your guidance dear experienced friends:
1) What English proficiency exam (for points) do you suggest, PTE or IELTs?
2) Should I take PTE/IELTs before filing for VETASSESS?
3) Does the "Full Skills Assessment" of VETASSESS include Points Test Advice (official or unofficial computation)?
4) I am planning to apply for 189 or 190. What steps should I take pending the English proficiency exam and VETASSESS (i.e., concurrent or requisite activities for those visa subclass)?
I was recently designated the CIA with 4+ yrs of IA exp. in a Philippine bank. Thank you in advance!

@bcondepascua this site is good to get information. here are my answers to your questions:
1. It varies, some people prefer PTE due its "fully computerized" aspect. Others are more comfortable with pen and paper (manual) and prefer ielts. I would suggest for you to search ielts and pte online and asses which one suits you. 2. Time is important. Vetassess assessment takes 12-14 weeks and vetassess does not require PTE/IELTS to start the assessment. Use your time wisely. If you have all documents, I would suggest for you to submit your vetassess first then do your english test. 3. Effective 1 January 2015, all VETASSESS applicants are provided with an integrated skills assessment outcome letter with Points Test Advice included. 4. First thing for you to do is submit your vetassses and while waiting for the result, finalise your english test then if you will get a positive assessment you can submit an EOI and ensure that you have the required points.
PLease note that similar to accountants, immigration can increase the minimum points threshold for auditors. If you have the required point for 189 go for it for flexibility. If you are short of points, then explore 190.
One last advise, ensure that the duties and responsibilities in your employment certificate is exactly the same or closely relates as what the ANZSCO job description for internal auditor. In most cases, vetassess checks the duties and responsibilities verbatim against ANZSCO so to prevent any potential issue, make sure that it is exactly the same. Google ANZSCO for details.

assessment you can check with the assessing body. it will help you also understand the requirements and the process. also additional fee if you want it on fast track. https://www.vetassess.com.au/
airfare varies as well on airline. google can answer this. worry your application first before this.
settling cost varies also on your spending habits. you can check this online as well to check on each state you prefer.
para di ka ma overload one step at a time.
unahin mo ang English test mo. pag meron ka na nyan madali na lng. vetasses though doesn't need English test before assessment.

Hi ulit guys! I did more research na and I have some questions that I hope you could answer, especially those that had very smooth processing
1. Is there a time of the year that is best for submitting requirements to Vetassess? Napansin ko kasi that some recommended July since nag-rereset ang quotas that time of the year?
2. In submitting requirements to Vetassess, I noticed that a Birth of Certificate is optional, as well as a Syllabus (if transcript has no units of study undertaken). Do you recommend foregoing these documents since hindi naman siya "required" ? Or is it better that I submit it parin?
3. Did you submit any other documents aside from those required by Vetassess? Gusto ko talaga sana maincrease ang chances ko of expediting the processing.
4. I noticed that the PTE exam results are a big factor! Did you guys enroll in PE2 classes or will studying online (youtube, google, etc.) be sufficient?

1. vetassess do not have quotas. If you are talking about July reset, that refers to DIBP (immigration). Financial year in oz is from 1 July to 30 June so if you will submit EOI towards the later part of the year chances are some occupations have already reached its quota for the year. 2. No harm in submitting extra documents if you have those handy. 3. I forgot which documents I have submitted when I did my skills assessment coz that was ages ago. In terms of expediting the proces, unfortunately, vetassess do not offer any express assessment service. Usually it takes 12-14 weeks to process so ensure that you have included all docs upon submission. 4. I have no experience with PTE

Hi all! I've come across below URL source of attached file: anzsco.com.au/Anzsco/DownloadPDF?search=221214
On what I understand, the document indicates that for Visa 190, IELTs is required for sponsorship. No mention of PTE.
Can someone clarify, vouch, or provide an authoritative publication, on use of PTE as an alternative to IELTs for purposes of Visa 189 and 190 application please?

@bcondepascua you can use PTE/TOEFL/CAMBRIDGE etc. Some state requires evidence of english test as sponsorship requirement.

To all,
This is about Employment Evidence. First, is Statement of Service (SoS) the same as Cert. of Employment (CoE)? Second, did you include all the quoted items enumerated by VETASSESS (verbatim from their website) in your SoS?
"The Statement of Service must include the following:
a) The company letterhead
b) Your full name
c) Whether the employment is / was on a full-time or part-time basis
d) The working hours per week
e) Your official position title (s) held at the organisation
f) The exact period of your employment in each position held
g) Details of your official main duties for each position held
h) The main five duties undertaken
i) The salary earned
j) A signature by the authorised person whose name and position are legible below the signature
k) Direct contact details of the authorised signatory"
My predicament is keeping my "plans" discreet from my current employer, which has automated and proforma CoE that does not include items c, d, h, i, j, and k (i.e., document is system-generated and no signature required). Requesting special-format CoE may hint on my personal "plans". Nonetheless, I believe I can support all these missing items with alternative evidence (contract, payslip, etc.).
Anyone who experienced submitting a system-generated CoE, please?

@bcondepascua mate, vetassess is quite strict now! i understand your point that you want this process to be low key in your company but the SOS says "must include"....
you can take the risk and submit a generic COE and provide contact, payslip, etc but they may come back to you and ask to submit a proper SOS - which means delay in processing or they may decide upfront and possible to give you a negative assessment. If you want to be on the safe side, then follow what they want.
SOS is almost the same as COE but former is more detailed

@ihaveadream I live in Melb. house share it depends on location, how many people in the house share. I would say accommodation is cheaper in Melb than Sydney big time!
Maybe 150-180aud/week house share in the suburbs of Melb. Western suburbs most of the time is cheaper compared to east, south, southeast, north. If you are on a budget, in the CBD, there are room share.

Hi IA friends!
Gusto ko lang po sana malinawan sa Employment Evidence specifically Statutory Declarations and Affidavits. I read the description at VETASSESS website and can't make a clear understanding out of it.
1) Is this optional? 2) Simple concrete example po sana on contents you put in your Statutory Declaration/Affidavit (base sa experience niyo in accomplishing one). 3) Too much to ask, I know, but would be delighted should someone upload a sample document (kahit general outline lang) for my reference (and of diligent future IA forum members').

Thank you so much!

1. vetassess do not have quotas.

On what I understand, the document indicates that for Visa 190, IELTs is required for sponsorship. No mention of PTE.
Can someone clarify, vouch, or provide an authoritative publication, on use of PTE as an alternative to IELTs for purposes of Visa 189 and 190 application please?

To all,
This is about Employment Evidence.
Anyone who experienced submitting a system-generated CoE, please?

you can take the risk and submit a generic COE and provide contact, payslip, etc but they may come back to you and ask to submit a proper SOS - which means delay in processing or they may decide upfront and possible to give you a negative assessment. If you want to be on the safe side, then follow what they want.
SOS is almost the same as COE but former is more detailed

Maybe 150-180aud/week house share in the suburbs of Melb. Western suburbs most of the time is cheaper compared to east, south, southeast, north. If you are on a budget, in the CBD, there are room share.

Maraming salamat po!
