    Hi both. That's a requirement across the board regardless which state you're going. The government just want to make sure that migrants have enough to establish themselves in Australia. Whether you're asked evidence of fund or not is either luck (you're randomly picked) or raised by suspicion that you may not have that money to support you/your family when you move to Australia and would likely be a burden to the Australian govt.

    @jacjacjac , hope you wont mind, I'm just curious what bothers you in paying through debt card. If you have the amount in the card what is your worry in using it as mode of payment in the Philippines. Kasi I am using debt card in paying my visa lodging although it is not in the Philippines.

    @Megger most banks in PHL have a 100K limit for online transactions for their debit cards. I also planned to use my BPI card before but good thing I called the bank before depositing kc nga 100K lang allowed nila for online transactions regardless of your account balance.

    @Megger I am just asking if anyone had the experience of using a Philippine- issued Debit card in paying the visa fee. Most of the answers I get are debit cards issued abroad and they did not experience any problem.
    Of course I will make sure that I have enough funds before I make transactions with my debit card. I know if so debit cards function 'as good as cash'. Eventhough it has VISA or MASTERCARD logo on it, there will always be a possibility that online payments will be declined.

    Jacjac, yup I mean debit, typo po, pasensya na. Anyway this is not the first time na kinorek yong spelling ko, hehehe. Praying you will resolve your payment issue na.

    @jacjacjac No. nakiride ako sa CC ng office mate ko. actually 150k ung limit nya pero nag over pa dun because of the additional charges and I think mas mataas FX rate nila kesa usual na bank rate.

    We are still waiting like everyone else for the 2017/18 occupational ceilings so that we can come up with some invitation waiting time estimates for the pro rata occupations

    - A few problems have been identified from the 12th July 2017 round. The occupation of Life Scientist (not on the 189 MLTSSL) has received an invitation in error.
    ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
    - ICT Security Specialist is not able to be chosen for a 189 EOI despite being added to the MLTSSL for at least one applicant
    ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
    - Many engineering occupations are not being able to be selected for 190 EOIs despite being on the eligible list for that occupation
    ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
    - The department of education confirmed this morning that they cannot yet publish the submissions lodged for the MLTSSL review for technical reasons

    Hello everyone. Bago lang po ako dito and I want to seek an advise po. Currently nagaayos na po ako ng documents needed for EA assessment. Ang problem ko po is yung sa current company ko po dito sa Doha.

    I am an engineer and my job is project coordinator. Pero ang visa ko po is cashier visa dahil di po makapagbigay ng female engineer visa ang company namin. So yun po yung nakaindicate sa RP ko. Although sa COE ko po and payslips, project coordinator po ang nakaindicate.

    Pano po kaya ang magandang gawin? Posible po ba na hindi ito iinclude ng assessor sa experience ko kasi po complicated/contradicting ang mga docs?

    Maraming salamat po sa sasagot! Godbless. :)
