@cessmariaaa yes as long as your sponsoring company can extend their sponsorship AND you can prove that they belong to your family unit - that is they solely depend on you and they no longer have other family members that can take care of them once you move here.

Hi! anyone here from visa 400
to 457? ilang months po kaya bago magka result? salamat
For a 457 Visa holder planning to go on vacation: 1. How many days can a 457 visa holder go on paid vacation out of Australia? Can he/she extend the vacation without pay? If so, how many more days are allowed? 2. What documents should the 457 visa holder provide in case he/she goes on vacation to ensure his/her visa would not be cancelled? 3. What necessary steps should a sponsor /employer of the 457 visa holder do/provide to ensure no breach in sponsorship obligations? 4. Are there any legal documents / links to support these? Thank you po.
@fay 1. This depends on the company you're working for. 457 visa holders are entitled to multiple entry to and from Australia as long as you are being sponsored which would obviously make your visa valid. Again, the pay will depend on your employer. There are factors to consider like how many months or years have you been with the same employer? are you entitle for an annual leave yet? You can always extend you're leave provided you still have some left. If not, then you might opt for an unpaid leave.
2. Just carry with you the visa grant details. They will not ask for it though, but just for your peace of mind in case the system fails (which doesn't really happen). All you're details will pop-up in the immi officer's screen as soon as they scan your passport.
3. Not every company in Australia can sponsor. It is determined if your business meets the training benchmarks, financial capability and if the company is lawful. If at any point, you feel like there is a breach with how the company "treats" you, then by all means, you have the right to report that company to DIBP. These businesses are always monitored by DIBP.
4. Legal documents? Please check this link. Under sponsors tab. Everything that you need is in there.

@jammmy Subclass 457 has been abolished by 18 March 2018. I am not sure if the same can be granted if the lodging was prior to that date or you will be under the terms and conditions of the Subclass 482.
Check this page for info on subsequent entrants for both the 482 and existing 457 visa holders.

@cucci thanks for the reply! I received both grants ng 457 visa namin last week
Hello, maybe some can help me out regarding our situation: My de facto partner is already in Australia under 457 visa since January. In his initial application, he declared that he was never married or in a de facto relationship. Now he's planning to include me as his secondary applicant. Is the process feasible? We have all the necessary documents to prove that we were in a de facto relationship and his employer has approved that they will extend their sponsorship to me. A response will be great! Thank you.

Hi everyone, I hope you can enlighten me. I am a 457 visa dependent. Unlike my husband na primary visa holder, wala ako OEC.
Kakatanggap lang din po pala sa akin sa work dito, will I be able to get an OEC na rin kaya? Thank you very much.
@sophistique I called up CFO, POEA and DOImmigration regarding the matter a few weeks ago coz my dependents will be coming over this November.
Finally, I got hold of someone from immigration in NAIA and got the assurance na wala namang magiging problema.
So I think you will not have any problem pag-uwi mo.
May procedure naman sila dito sa embassy to process that.
