@julypearl san po kayo sa australia nagapply? magkano po yung tuition fee. kasi sabi ng iba you just need to pay the first semester tuition fee hindi naman necessary na whole year.

@kimberly Ano pong field or industry mo? Universities lng usually ang nag-offer ng master's degree and they vary in tuition fees (at least AUD 20k/year). From what I know, mas mahal po kasi ang MBA than other programs (not only in AU but also in other countries). May nakapagtanong na rin nyan and I did basic research to look into unis na mas mura ang tuition, and they all came up to be less popular universities (but good reputation naman).

    schools with cheap tuition

Personally, I suggest you look into schools na talagang ok yung programs rather than making decisions based on tuition fees lang kasi marami namang universities ang nag-ooffer ng scholarships for international students. :) I understand na price is always going to be a factor, but looking at scholarships is always an option na hindi masyado kinoconsider ng karamihan.

Good day po, ask sana ako if confirm na po na wala ng show money for level 2 institutions, ano nalang ang financial capacity requirements for student visa? Kasi ang sabi nila hindi na need ang financial capacity evidence. Salamat po.

@rj052813 its true if your applying for a level 2 provider. hindi na hihingin ng embassy ang show money but the school might require it.

@aranayad Maraming salamat po, may Letter of Offer na po ako sa isang level 2 provider. Yung ibig sabihin po ba na after ako mabigyan ng Letter of Enrolment okay na mag pasa agad for student visa kahit walang proof na may enough money ako? Thank you

    Hi guys..
Meron lang po sana ako itanong. I'm planning to enroll a advanced diploma course this coming February 2018 or July 2019. Naun po kasi employed ako dito sa Middle East and my contract will end next year July. Kung sakali po ba ba nagrant ang Student Visa ko before my intake this coming February at di po ako pinayagan na magresign dito sa company, pwede ko po ba i move yung pagpunta ko sa Australia sa July?

    Thank you po sa suggestion.

@Graff if you really intend to finish your work contract, it's better to apply for your student visa for July 2019 intake. Your student visa validity is based on your eCoE, so I'm not sure if you need to request DIBP to update your student visa validity if you attempt to defer. If you decide to defer, you have to get a new eCoE from the school.

@athelene Thank you...If I decided to defer and take new eCOE, is there a change to get refusal because I chance the schedule of my intake?

@Graff I think hindi naman magiging problem yun, pero d ko alam kung kailangan maglodge ng bagong student visa application or kung paano ipapa-update yung eCoE mo sa visa application (after you've lodged it). If i were you, i'd rather go for July 2019 intake rather than magbakasakali sa Feb intake. Para walang complications or hassle later on if you decide to defer.

@nealkenken Since chem eng po kayo, mas mabuti po na skilled migration po kayo, gaya ng sinabi ni @aranayad. Marami pong klase ng skilled visas, with the most popular being 189 (independent), 190 (state-sponsored), and 489 (provisional) visas.

    Comparison of Visa Options

Essentially, how it works is that you have to meet the minimum points to qualify to receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply for PR visa). Based on your age, education, nominated occupation (chem eng in your course), state nominations, partner's skills, English proficiency, etc., you get points, which you can claim on your SkillSelect account/profile and create an EOI (Expression of Interest; it's like letting the state know that you want to migrate as a skill worker/professional).

If you get at least 60 points, you would qualify for an ITA. If you do get an ITA, you have to gather your documentation and lodge your PR visa application soon after and wait for the DHA (Department of Home Affairs, formerly Department of Immigration and Border Protection) to grant your PR visa. Processing times vary, but if you're skilled enough (with a good number of work experience, good English proficiency, and optimal age), it should be relatively easier to migrate as compared to pursuing the student visa route.

hi. my husband and I are planning to apply for a student visa, programmers po kami dito sa philippines pero hindi pa po ganun katagal yung experience 1 year mahigit pa lang and magiipon parin po kami para po s funds namin. may chance po kaya ma-approve?

@marialobsan Hi. If you're planning to apply for student visa, I don't think work experience is necessary for application (unless it's required for your program/course in AU). Yung "chance" of getting approved for a student really depends on how you can prove that your prior studies (in the Philippines) relates to your planned studies (in Australia), and the value of Australian study to your professional career. Of course, the capacity to pay for the expensive tuition is also another major factor to consider.

@athelene thanks for replying, ma'am. ma'am, sasamantalahin ko na itong pagkakataon para magtanong. mas madali bang makakuha ng working visa if you start with student visa? i mean, if ever matapos kami sa program na kukunin namin, madali ba kami makakapag apply or madali ma-approve pag nag apply kami ng skilled visa? thank you.
