@chrisangel architectural technician is on the short term occupation list. Having a job offer gives you an advantage if you are applying for GSM visa route. Try to avoid work sponsorship if you can as this isn't a guaranteed pathway to PR. I would always advice my clients to still opt for GSM no matter what.

@batman What I will do to my payslip? Shall I request an affidavit explaining the reason why my name in my payslip was mispelled? or I will just show the bank statement with the same amount on the payslip? Thank you sir.

@batman Ok sir. I will include my payslips as one of my employment evidence in VET assessment. Also, I will get bank statements showing the same amount received in the payslips.

    Thank you sir.

hi @RheaMARN1171933 good day po. I saw from your post in the forum that it is better to wait for the CO to ask for police clearance.

In my case po kasi I have staggered overseas assignment in Japan.
    Year 2008 - 6months
    Year 2010 – 11months and 2 weeks

Query 1 - am I required to submit a Japan police clearance? Kaso what I read was you have to be in a foreign country for 12mos. Not so sure lang ako pag considered ba kahit staggered? Or considered po ba na a must ung year 2010 stay ko sa Japan kasi 2 weeks nalang mag one year na ako dun?

Query 2 - better po ba to wait nalang if CO requires me to submit? Kaso po nabasa ko kasi it will take 2 months to get a Japan police clearance here in the Philippines so baka po magahol ako sa oras if I will wait CO to request this.

Kindly assist to enlighten me. Thank you po in advance!

@michtery_aus it has to be living more than 12 months. I don't think yours would be under this classification. Why don't you provide a cover letter when you submit your application explaining your case and to advice you if they require such clearance. They will let you know naman e. Usually they'll give you 25 days to provide documents. If you can't meet the deadline just submit another cover letter explaining why you're not able to meet the deadline. They will wait namin since it's beyond your control. The important thing is you expressed your intention to follow the requirements.

@michtery_aus no worries, to be honest, you won't need to submit any police clearance pero write the cover letter na rin para safe. All the best.

Please confirm naman po ang understanding ko.
Few years back po, na-observe ko na nirerequire ng Immigration na certified copies ang isa-submit.
Sa bagong nababasa ko from the website, parang tinanggal na nila itong requirement na ito. Instead, clear scanned copy of originals na lang.

    Tama po ba unawa ko?

ask lang po regarding sa visa lodging..

do you need to put the Highest recognised qualification obtained ng spouse/de facto?

do you need to put din yung previous jobs kahit internship lang ng spouse/de facto sa ibang bansa sa application?

Dun sa previous countries of residence - Have any of the applicants lived in a country other than the primary applicant's usual country of residence..
ilang months/years dapat bago masabi tumira ka dun? kasi for example, yung defacto ko nag-intern sya sa USA twice.. umuwi sya sa pinas kada 6 months. ilalagay ko pa yun?
Tapos nasa drop-down din pati ung non-migrating members ng family, yung sister ko kasi nasa singapore (PR sya dun), so need din sya ilagay dun? Kaso may start and end date na nakalagay, eh dun naman talaga sya naka-based. Or better wag ko nalang ilagay yung sakanya? Dahil usual country of residence nya naman yung Singapore? Or yung usual of country of residence nya is Pinas padin kahit more than 10 years na sya sa SG?

I hope someone can shed a light.. Thank you.

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

James 5:7-8 Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

@aj.skywalker Well you can check the EOI invitation estimate. I think maiinvite ka pero sobrang tagal nga lang.

    PTE Writing Tips

For writing essay I used E2 language format and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by giving points and examples about the topic.

Then sa 2nd paragraph, elaborate ko na ang 1St reason. Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason, like if yung 1st reason ko is aid in learning, expand ko ang topic by answering how computers aid in learning, etc. Usually yung reason mo convert mo by asking how, what, when, or who. Tapos sa 3rd sentence, I state examples. Pwede ka din mag add pa ng 4th sentence parang isummarize mo lang ang 2nd paragraph.

Sa 3rd paragraph discuss naman ang 3rd reason same sa ginawa sa 2nd par.

4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yung 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

If medyo nahihirapan ka sa mga ideas, research ka dito sa forum ng mga recent topics. Tapos based dun sa topic reasearch ka anong pwedeng maging points and reasons para may idea ka na ano ilalagay mo sa essay.

Ang key talaga sa writing is dapat marami ka ideas. If nahihirapan ka mag construct ng idea try to research as much as possible. Google mo yung mga common or recent topics on pte writing tapos may mga sample questions dun,, then research mo ano possible answers para sa actual exam may idea kana ano isasagot. Tapos dpat familiarize mo mga connectors (like moreover, therefore, for instance, etc) kasi mas mataas ang grade kapag medyo complex ang sentence na ginagamit mo kesa simple sentences lang.

For summarize written text strategy ko is to first get ano main topic. Then analyze what important points were given, may nangyari ba? If meron ano ang nangyari, kelan nangyari? ano at para kanino ang purpose? Usually kasi sa mga paragraphs naka detail lang pero yung point lang naman dun is parang dinedescribe lang yung main topic. If you can answer who/what, when, how and why about the topic pwede mo na pagdugtungin yung ideas mo thru connectors and form a sentence. If you will have multiple paragraphs, summarize mo muna per paragraph then summarize mo ulit lahat in one sentence

Another tip also in writing as much as possible do not repeat the same words. If you dont have much stored knowledge about synonyms okay lang. Practice and Research is the key. Kaya malaki ang help sa akin yung pag research sa mga common or recent topics kasi while practicing pwede akong mghanap ng synonyms then mas madali ko syang ma recall sa actual exam kasi nagawa ko na sya before. Tapos if meron kayong word na ma encounter na parang hirap kayo mag elaborate, google nyo din anong synonym or phrases na pwedeng same meaning ng word. Share ko yung nilista kong mga synonyms na possible na magagamit sa mga essay kasi minsan these are the topics commonly asked.

Guys, I'm lodging my visa now.

    May question dito:

Does the applicant have any members of their family unit NOT travelling to Australia who are not Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents?

Most probable answer dito is YES, kasi I have my parents and siblings na hindi naman pupuntang Australia.

But when you click YES, they will ask yung passport details nila lahat :-w

    =======================

@NoelRubio Members of Family unit are Spouse and children lang, not parents nor siblings.

    https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Migrationagents/Pages/member-of-family-unit.aspx

A member of your family unit can be your:
partner – married or de facto (same or opposite sex)
    or
dependent child, up to 23 years of age (there are some exceptions, see below under Eligible child below).

    https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa/incl

so if may hindi ka isasama sa application mo na spouse or children, then saka mo sya i-yes.
