hi all, question lang regarding assessment
2010 - 2018 ACS assessment done - result ok

hndi ko sinama yung 2009 ko kasi wala ako coe, pero ngaun nahalungkat ko xa at mejo luma na talaga pero readable pa naman, plan ko sana magpare-assess para umabot ng 5yrs ung work exp sayang din kasi yung plus 5 points if mag ok, possible pa kaya yun na idagdag ko yun at maging ok parin ang result or it might affect my current assessment? sakit kasi nung 4 yrs na bawas eh.. salamat

pinost ko din to dun sa general thread baka kasi meron din same case pero ibang assessing body.

Hi, question lang, do I need to have an affidavit /stat dec pa sa employment reference ko na signed ng previous manager ko? Necessary ba na HR dapat ang magsign ng employment reference?

Also, necessary ba na may salary din na nakalagay sa employment reference?

pero ngaun nahalungkat ko xa at mejo luma na talaga pero readable pa naman, plan ko sana magpare-assess para umabot ng 5yrs ung work exp sayang din kasi yung plus 5 points if mag ok, possible pa kaya yun na idagdag ko yun at maging ok parin ang result or it might affect my current assessment? or pwde ako magpa-assess using different anz code (261312) na halos same lang din ng code ko ngaun? sakit kasi nung 4 yrs na bawas eh.. any suggestions? thanks po

@ced If tama pagkaintindi ko tapos na yung assessment mo for 261313 occupation and you want to add up yung other work exp mo? I think wala naman magiging impact sa una mong assessment dahil tapos na yun pero kung magpapa re-assess ka need mo ulit magbayad ng panibago at no guaranteed na makaka claim ka ng 5yrs work exp for points. dipende kasi yan sa officer na hahawak ng case mo so its still a risk if you want to do re-assessement.

@Hunter_08 yep tama ka bro, may positive assessment na ako @5pts work exp, pinasa ko 2010-2018 tapos less 4yrs, hndi ko lang naisama yung 2009-2010 na work ko para ipa-assess kasi kasi nawawala COE ko, eh bigla nalang lumabas at nakita, kaya iniisip ko kng pwde pa magtry ulet, may risk nga pero sayang din kasi kng makakadagdag din ng points... worry ko lang kng hndi mag-ok eh magagamit ko parin ba yung unang assessment?

@ced yes kung magpa assess ka ulit pwede mo gamitin either dun sa dalawang pina assessed mo basta parehong positive assessment.

@Mizai01, need ng stat dec kung yung letter head ng company di present sa certification of employment mo or dissolved na yung company or di ka makakuha in a way na ayaw tlga nila magprovide lalo na ng list of job description.

Since pirmado sya ng previous manager mo, ang question kung yung document mo ay may contact nos. ng company itself for verification purposes, kung personal contact kasi ni manager lang ang nsa COE mo at in case of verification, kung bigla sya mag resign wala nang magiging contact yung assessing body kung iveverify nila. For me, mas magandang HR ang nagiissue ng COE (though not required) since nilalagyan nila every document ng document number for reference kapag naglalabas sila ng document. HTH.

Thank you @Supersaiyan ! Actually may letterhead naman dun sa reference ko with details ng company. So I think covered naman na for verification purposes? Dahil dun, enough na ba na certified true copy na lang nung document and iprovide ko? Also, napromote ako 2 times though same roles lang naman, need ko ba paghiwa hiwalay yung job description nung mga yun?

@Mizai01 kung may letterhead oks lang yun kahit ctc n lng pagawa mo since sa letterhead usually andon yung contact details ng company. Mejo confusing lang sken yung promotion mo. Alam ko ksi kpg nppromote dinadagdagan ng job desc yun kaya much better paghiwalayin mo n lng.

@iska03 same nominated occ. tyo, Developer Programmer, mukang same din yung points nten. So far, mahirap nga makakuha ng ITA for 189 ksi 75 points ata tlga kelangan. Pag-asa nten either 190 or 489. Pray lang, makakuha din tyo ITA.

question po ulet, if magpapa-assess ulet ng bago, kelangan ba bago din mga docs or pwde parin gamitin yung lumang docs na sinubmit last assessment? thanks po

@ced ok lang yung mga previous docs. actually e lilink mo yung previous assessment. so yung yung additional docs lang needed.

Guys mejo tricky yung question ko sana meron maka sagot.

Yung Bachelors Degree ko was assessed as Associate Degree(10pts) which is 5 years work exp deduction. May 2017 5 yrs yung work exp ko. So after nun lahat ng work exp ko hanggang ngayon is for points na mga 1 year and 6mos. By March 2019 meron na ako Grad Certificate(15points) which is Higher than Bachelors Degree.

Ang question ko, after ng Grad Certificate ko anong mangyayare sa mga work exp ko?
5 yrs deduction pa rin ba?

Sana meron maka sagot.

@iska03 your query should be best addressed to ACS directly as they are the only one who could really shed light to your question and be able to guide you properly. They are usually prompt with responding to queries so why don’t you liaise with them directly?

The issue there is that your grad cert, if recognised as equivalent or higher to an Australian bachelor degree, might have no weight at all in terms of how it relates to your work experience as ACS recognises post qualification experience. So in short, you may be able to claim 15 points on qualification but no points on skilled employment due to the fact you’ve obtained your grad cert qualification in March 2019.

This my initial instinct but I would check with ACS and see the best course of action you can do - whether it’s worth applying for another assessment. Good luck!

@iska03, alam ko depende sa state may instance na may mas mababang points na naiinvite agad compared dun sa mga higher pointers, so random. It means depende din sa demand ng trabaho at kung kailangang kailangan ng state yung occupation nten, syempre depende din sa God's time.

Regarding sa tanong mo sa Grad Certificate at work XP mo, depende ito sa ACS pero halos same tyo ng situation eto nman saken:

Nag start ako ng work ng May 2011 and related sa nom occ ko work ko, tpos nkuha ko lang yung Bachelors Degree ko sa IT ng April 2012. It means di pa tlga ako graduate nung nagstart ako mag work. Pina assess ko yung experience na yun at yun kinonsider nman ni ACS yung 1 year XP ko kahit wala pa akong diploma, siguro dahil na prove ko nman na nagwowork tlga ako habang nagaaral, inattach ko dn yung SSS, Philhealth contributions ko sa docs na sinubmit ko kay ACS kahit di nila required iattach, nilagay ko lang para lang iprove ko. Yun by God's grace naconsider nman nila. Check mo yung attachment ko, diploma lng din yung assessment sa bachelor's degree ko since section 3 yung school ko, pero yun nga kinonsider nila yung work ko habang wala pa kong diploma, I hope na ganon din sana sa case mo. God bless sa assessment.

@Supersaiyan yes, same case nga tayo.

Yung work exp ko before ko makuha Bachelors Degree ko pasok naman lahat sa assessment nila. Difference lng pinataas ko yung educ points ko by studying ulit kya hnd pa ko sure kung ano mangyayare sa work exp ko.

@RheaMARN1171933 That’s exactly i’m thinking din. although i got 15points for education lahat naman ng work exp ko na deduct lang ksi March 2019 ko na meet yung criteria as Grad Cert. Unless dun sila mag base sa Associate Degree ko.

Tanong ko lang po kung possible maging bachelors degree yung AQF ko kung sa ACS ako mag ps assess? Nag pa assess kasi ako sa EA pero advance diploma lang nakuha ko. Section 3 po school ko, ECE pero may CCNP nung 2017. Thanks po sa makakasagot

@galf10333, alam ko based sa mga nabasa ko dati dito sa forum, possible sa ACS na maging bachelor ka kahit section 3 school mo, as long as 5years ka nag aral at pasado ka ng board exam. Not sure, hintay tyo ng mga masters dito.

hi guys! may question lang ako. please help me to decide kung itutuloy ko pa pag process ng application ko. magssubmit na sana akosa ACS lahat ng requirements ko. pero naisip ko magconsult muna sa consultancy just to confirm lang. nagpa assess ako thru email sakanila then tinawagan nila ako sinabi nila qualified daw ako kasi i have 65 pts wala pa ung ielts dun. nasa under system administrator daw visa 190. pero ang problemlang daw kasi sa 190 kelangan ng job offer from north territory and mejo suntok sa buwan daw yun. walang assurance. pero last year kasi ang sabi sakin ng iba consultancy state nominaton lang daw under NSW. ngayon daw nagiba na kasi. so kelangan ako magkaron ng job offer sa north territory para magrant ng visa. what do u think? sana matulungan nio ko especially sa mga nakapag lodge na ngayon year under 190 visa. ACS. thank you po. wait ko po reply nio

@chuc_ unfortunately there is no assurance at this stage as to which state/Territory would be open for sponsorship and what the requirements will be by the time you’re ready to lodge your EOI. You can’t simply fixate yourself to a particular Visa nor state at this stage when a lot can happen between now and then.

The best way to go is, if you’re willing to take the risk, have your skills assessed now, see the outcome and the actual points you can claim. Only then you can start analysing the Visa and sponsorship side of things when all your documents are ready for EOI. Good luck.
