Hello everyone. Bago lang po ako. With very little knowledge about the bridging program in au. I talked to one of the agent here in ph telling me that i still have the chance to undergo the bridging program if magkaroon ako ng loe before june 2019. Tama ba un? How sure is that? If for example i will be submitting all my docs on novemberor dec aabot pa kaya ako sa bridging?

@sabchie I suggest to check online schools wc are still offering BP and how many intakes available between jan-june2019, that way you can estimate if u have enough time. Kasi you need to wait for LOE before applying for BP tpos baka feb or march na yun. I think magaagawan ngayon for slots for BP kasi may changes sa overseas nurses application sa AHPRA wc they said will be implemented early to mid 2019..

Hi guys thanks for the reply. Wla pa kami loe. We are on step number 1 which is to take the pte exam. We are planning to engage in rps since i have no idea about the whole program. Gusto ko sana solohin kaso baka magkanda mali mali pa requirements ko madelay pa at abot pa ung board exam. Very pricey. Do you have any other consultancy in mind na mas mababa pf? Nakakatakot kasi umabot dun sa my board exam na.

Yung COGS po will be coming separately from the PRC. Sa Philippines, yung DHL sa tapat ng PRC ang usually na nagcocollect nun then sila na din magsesend. That can be arranged.
Everything else will be submitted with your AGOS application.

Hello, I hope may makatulong sakin.
I am currently here in Australia under subclass 600, bago ako umalis sa Philippines nalodge na ng employer ko ang Nomination and Visa at the same time. My problem is hindi pa din lumalabas nomination ko, and mageexpire ang tourist visa ko this Nov 29. Possible worst scenario baka abutan ako ng visa expiry and uuwi ng Philippines again.
What would be my best option?
1. Apply for an extension of tourist visa?
2. Ask my employer na iwithdraw and reapply my 482 visa as onshore?
3. Or wait na lang, and if maabutan ng expiry, uwi ng Pinas, and reenter again.
@MissAussie Seems that applying for visitor visa extension would be the cheapest of the 3 options. Withdrawing visa applications would forfeit the fees paid, unless the reason for withdrawal emanates from immigration... if I remember correctly. Exiting and re-entry involves airfare and not to mention some "stress" of having to pass through customs and immigration.

Still waiting for my nomination, ang tagal nila irelease, samantalang yung mga nauna sakin na nasponsoran ng company ko, mabilis lang. Nag fly lang kasi ako sa Oz, para hindi na ako dadaan sa OEC in case maabutan ako ng visa grant sa Pinas, I didn't realized matagal pala mag nomination approval. So I'm weighing my options now kasi ayoko na sanang umuwi ng Pinas uli.
I had to process OEC sa POLO Canberra for a short vacation last month... just sent the application form, contract and payment details. In about a week, inclusive of courier delivery time I got the OEC. Just about a month or two ago, I read someone posting here in the forum about his ordeal with processing OEC because he was granted offshore and he was being asked to pay something like equivalent of a month's salary... can't remember the exact details na.

@dy3p they did follow up last week. Ang sinasabi ang global processing times pa din e 38-64 days. But the nomination is 35-39 days, lagpas lagpas na ako

@cucci yes! Yan din worry ko, yung OEC, I told this to my employer regarding the OEC, and they said na ayaw na nila ako dumaan pa sa Poea kasi matagal daw. I just really hope dumating na tss visa ko before my visa expires
@MissAussie I just remembered, pwede rin naman pala exit ka to another country, wag lang Pinas... say Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand (no need for visa for short stays kasi ASEAN countries) tapos balik sa Aussie. Ang drawback lang nito ay dadaan ka ulit sa immigration sa airport which can question your intentions. Understandably, this equates to overthinking na... hehe... carry over ng kakapanood nung Border Security Australia tv show... haha.

@cucci oh no! Sobrang magastos talaga mag exit hahaha baka naman magrant na this month hehe do you guys have any idea ilang weeks waiting time for the extension of tourist visa?
@Cassey hi! Do you have any idea po ba if may mga mag oopen pa na school for bridging this early 2019? For now ang konti ng pag pipilian na school and super late na mga intakes nila. My LOE will expire on july 2019. I dont know if papayagan pa mag extend if naimplement na yung new pathway. Sobrang nakakfrustrate maghanap ng school now

Hi @ykcul_kcul I'm not sure. But I would probably contact my RO and inquire on how to go about it, if I don't get any response then I will call AHPRA:
Within Australia call 1300 419 495 From outside Australia call +61 3 9275 9009

@LovellaEllen do you think maam they will consider giving an extension letter? Sorry po madaming tanong.. salamat po
LovellaEllenQLD, Australia Posts: 315Member Joined: Nov 27, 2017
It was stated in AHPRA that in the event that you couldn't finish the BP on time within 1 year, just contact them and ask for an extension. If I were you, just make sure na atleast naka pag enrol kana before the BP period ends para atleast ma justify mo sa AHPRA. With the changes mid 2019 baka magka prob ka nyan.. Just to be safe, secure a slot and enrol before your BP ends..

@LovellaEllen kasi po maam ung school ayaw mag issue ng COE unless humingi ka ng extension letter from AHPRA.. tapos ung ahpra ayaw dn magbigay ng extension if hndi magbigay ng COE ung school. How could i weigh it maam?

Option 1 can probably work depending on when the nomination was submitted.
Option 2 is definitely a no-no for me as you will then have to scratch everything and start from the bottom.
I would say option 3. It's the safest.
