"You must meet certain character requirements. You must be prepared to provide a police certificate from each country you have lived in for 12 months or more during the past 10 years after you turned 16 years of age. Do not arrange for police certificates until we ask you to."

sabi lang after you turned 16. per my understanding lang. I might be wrong.

hello! i already posted a similar message under ACS thread..naisip ko ipost din dito to get more thoughts from you guys..

I got a positive assessment from ACS pero ung skilled employment experience ko po is 0 yr as per ACS..I worked from June 2004-November 2007. Kaso sabi sa assessment ng ACS:

"The following employment after November 2007 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code."

Bale yung total points ko currently is 60:

Age - 30 (32yo)

English Language Ability - 10 (IELTS all 7 above)

Skilled Employment - 0 (0 yr)

Qualifications - 15 (AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing)

Other Factors - 5 (partner skills)

Do you think pwede na ako mag apply for EOI? Or need ko pa ng 3 years skilled experience? Required po ba un? Or as per ACS assessment na suitable ako for migration is enough already?

hi jandm, ask ko lang medyo confused pa ko since this week lang ako nag-start mag-basa at mag-gather ng docs for ACS assessment, yung Skilled Employment and Qualifications will be determined by the ACS assessment tama ba?

@mgt21 yes sa ACS assessment naka state yan dalawa..example:

"Your qualification has been assessed as follows:

Your [course] from [college/university] completed

[date completed] has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing."

tapos sa skilled employment naman nakalagay:

"The following employment after November 2007 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code."

@jandm I don't understand why the assessment referring to work beyond 2007? Ano reason bakit 0 at di na consider yung work mo ng 2004-2007? 60 ka na naman mag submit ka na para naka line up na.

Sa pagkaalam ko po nagrefer sila sa last 10 years of work, so 2005 onwards dpat ang macredit, tpos, since nagkakaltas ng two years ang ACS sa work experience, kya 2007 ang naging start.. Sa tingin ko lng gnun...Hehe

@batman, like @pausatio said, ganun nga sa ACS, nagbabawas sila ng minimum of 2 years sa pag assess nila..nagwork ako from June 2004 to November 2007..2005 lng ung start ng count ksi for the past 10 yrs lng pwede ipaassess..so there..

nagsubmit na ako ng EOI kahapon..thanks sa mga advices nyo ha..God bless us all 🙂

@EAP try mo mag fill out ng EOI at the end it will show you the points you earned base on the information you provided and you can just save it as draft.

@batman thanks po. Anu po ba ang makukuha ko detail sa result ng skill assessment na convertible to points po? Nagtatry kami sa mga sample points calculation pasok naman po. Salamat po!

@EAP sa accountant general kasi pag bachelors degree = 15 pts. employment for last ten years: 15 pts for 8 years, 10 pts for 5 years at 5 pts for 3 years.yan ang possible point from assessing body na pede I claim.

@batman tama po ba pag kaintindi ko, sila po magsasabi kung valid as bachelor degree ako and ilan yrs pede ko iclaim na working years? Sila po magsasabi nya sa result ng assessment tapos un po gagamitin ko as part of my EOI? Thank u!
