Hello! Is this forum still active? Hehe. I really hope so. I need your advice if possible po ba na makapag-apply po ako sa Australia for work.
I`m an Arts Management grad but has been working in the BPO industry for the longest time. Hindi ko na na.practice yung course ko.
Nung March 2013, I had the opportunity to work here in Thailand as a Kindergarten-English teacher. Malayo sya sa pinag-aralan ko pero I really wanted to try teaching cause I really love kids and wanted to do this matagal na. Bukod pa sa close po ako sa aunt ko na teacher po talaga dito sa Thailand.
Currently Im in the PTC program of UPOU and might (HOPEFULLY) graduate next year or 1st quarter of 2016 the latest. I guess what Im worried about is the fact that I worked as an educator first before actually acquiring a certificate for teaching. Almost 3 years na po akong teacher dito. 29 po ako ngayun and I`m thinking to apply in two-three years time. I still need to pass the LET muna. Baka kasi iba ang maging interpretation nila about that pag.nareview na nila ang application ko.
Also, do we really have to get a grade of 8 sa lahat ng category sa IELTS or band score would be considered?
Sa pagkakaalam ko po pala theyve revised the point system so in case I wont be able to nail my IELTS and wont get the full 20 points they give in that category (for getting all 8), would getting a grade of 7 or more which is equivalent to 10 points would be okay as long as I reached the 60 points they require, or getting an all 8 is mandatory if Im gonna nominate Teaching as my skill?
Medyo nalungkot po pala ako sa nabasa ko na nahihirapan yung ibang Pinoy makahanap ng teaching job sa Australia. Isa pa sa worry ko na if ever maipasa ko and won`t be able to get any teaching job, I had no idea how pano ang mundo ng arts management sa Australia. Kailangan po ba palaging related sa pinag-aralan or kahit hindi naman as long as I found a good job there? (Oops sorry kinda getting way ahead there pero masyado lang po talaga akong curious hehe).

Gusto ko lang po kasi talagang magkaroon na ng idea para masimulan ko na po tong journey na to and malaman ang mga dapat kong gawin and kung kaya ko ba syang magawa. Salamat po ulet!
