Planning to take DIY route lng din ako. nag research din ako ng konting information na and I believe hindi naman ganun ka complicated ang case ko. I know I would need to be assessed sa ACS. And I'm aware na kulang yung years of experience ko kasi kaka 4 years ko lang, and maybe they will deduct 2 years sa experience ko. So I know I would need to get 8.0 in ielts or magpa state sponsorship ako to get the 5 points. Is this an example of a complicated scenario na kailangan tlaga ng tulong ng agent? Hehe kasi di ko alam kng anong complicated ibig niyong sabihin. 😃 thanks!

@tomangelo mukhang di naman complicated case mo. complicated lang pag may personal circumstances na pwede magdelay or reject sa visa application. ano course mo? kasi kung di ka IT baka kulang ang 4yrs na experience para makakuha ng positive skill assessment.

@engineer20 graduate po ako ng bs computer engineering. So best case scenario, pde ako ma assess as ICT Major, deducted with 2 years experience so yung pwedeng i credit ko sa visa application is 2 years nalang which currently has no equivalent points.

So with that premise:

If I would push through with visa subclass 189, I must get 8.0 in all categories sa IELTS to get 65 points. (passing mark =60)

Get nominated subclass 190, at least pass 7.0 sa IELTS which will result in 60 points. (passing mark =60)

Please correct me if I'm wrong with my understanding. 🙂 I just would like to know my own assessment if I can push through with this. Tapos mag DIY pa ako. Thanks sa mga nagsagot and sasagot. 🙂

@tomangelo ano balak mong nominated occupation?

@tomangelo DIY lang kami, as long as you know which points yung ikiclaim sa EOI madali na lang yung sa visa application. Just a tip, make sure that you have a proof for all your claimed points and the rest will follow. Usually naman pag may assessment na from the governing body, nakaindicate na rin dun yung pwede mong iclaim na points. Goodluck. 🙂

Kung hindi po kayo graduate ng IT or Computer course via RPL ang alam ko way nyan.

and ACS usually deduct 6 years kapag non-IT course po kayo. Ganyan po sa amin 6 years ang na deduct.

Thanks for for all the feedback. Nabasa ko po sa previous posts na dapat naka notarize po lahat ng documents. Meaning po nito aside sa mga managers and appropriate persons na naka sign dapat sa documents ko dapat may signature din po ng attorney or lawyer ito?

How about for diploma and TOR? Ano proof of evidence ko na legit yun?

@tomangelo ang ginawa ng iba pag coloured scan di na nila pinanotarize. Pinanotarize lang nila pag black and white. Kami naman just to be sure na hindi yung docus namin, pinastamp namin mga docus namin sa JP dito sa AU (notary public sa atin) 🙂

The more points the better po ba tlaga or dapat lang maka abot ng 60 points? Mas may chance ba ang 65 points than a person having 60 points lang? I read somewhere na mas prioritize ang higher points, yun yung una nilang iniinvite.

@tomangelo Depende sa occupation ceiling mo. Kami 60 lang pero nainvite kami kaagad kasi wala masyadong nagaapply sa nominated occupation ni hubby.

@Cassey Ang weird nga eh kasi walang Software Engineer sa skillSelect occupation ceiling dito https://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Empl/skillselect Does this mean walang inooffer for software engineers for this year? And abang nalang ako sa July?

@se29m Ok got it. Thanks for clearing that up. So would it be an advantage to lodge an application during the month of July because there is a fresh pool for the occupational lists?
