Alam ko wala na police clearance ngaun sa SG. Check mo site nila... Statutory declaration na sila ngaun.

What is Certificate of Clearance (COC)?

Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued to Singapore Citizen to certify that the named person has no criminal record during his stay in Singapore.

Note - Why is there a change in the policy for CNCC.

Police are not obligated to issue Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (CNCC) but have done so as a form of international cooperation since other countries provide similar documents as well. However, this service does not form part of police’s core function. Further, following the recent differentiation approach between citizens and non-citizens in terms of benefits in the healthcare, medical and education sectors, a similar distinction was also drawn with regard to CNCC issuance policy. As such, COCs will only be issued to citizens henceforth. The policy change will affect only a small number and there are alternative mean such as applying for a Statutory Declaration through the Commissioners of Oath or qualified legal practitioners.

Nope you can still apply as long as you get the Appeal Letter issued by your CO which you then have to present to singapore police hq. Statutory declaration as substitute for police clearance is not accepted by DIAC.

Ay salamat po for enlightening me... hahaha akala ko Stat dec na. Wala kase makasagot ng tanong ko na yan so thanks po sa mga info na yan... Anyways, hindi ko pa naman kelangan nyan at hindi pa ako nakakapagsubmit ng application sa diac. Skills assessment pa lang po ako 🙂 but thanks again for the info.

hi to all. sa requirement po about payslip para sa skilled employment assessment, kelangan po ba lahat ng payslip isa-submit? tulad ko, i have been working in my present company for almost 6 years. so that would be about 70 monthly payslip

me epekto po ba sa assessment/application pag me history ng pagpalit ng name yung current employer? or considered na change of employment yun? kasi employed ako sa Singapore since 2006 then year 2010, nagpalit ng name employer ko.

me mga Systems Administrator (UNIX) po ba kayong kilala na na-approve for 175 visa or talagang 176 ang kailangan?

I think it's better if you request a certificate of employment from your employer stating that they have change their name as well, I have done it in one of my previous employer here in sg.. mabait din naman sila, you just have to explain it to them properly. 🙂

Hi all. Newbie here. Ready na po docs ni hubby for assessment sa AMSA (assessing body). After po sa AMSA, magIELTS na po siya. Medyo in doubt po ako sa mode of payment. Meron dun bank draft and credit card option. Sa credit card, meron pong form na i-fi-fill out then send by mail to AMSA.

1) Ang AMSA na po ba ang magchacharge sa credit card upon receipt of the form?

2) Pwede po ba isabay yung payment form sa ibang documents na ipapa-assess namin sa AMSA?

3) Kailangan di po ba dalawa kami ni hubs magtake ng IELTS or pwedeng siya nalang?

hi @tamarind26, i think the other assessing body also do this kind of procedure (e.g. ACS).. if you pay by credit card, you should a have a copy of the online receipt and then you will be sending the printed copy to the assessing body by mail together with the other documents that were certified.

regarding sa question number 2 mo, hindi ba one time ang payment for the assessment? im not sure with AMSA but ACS is one time payment lang.

basically, your hubby will be the main applicant and you will be the secondary so I think it will be better if you take both so that you will avoid the 2nd fee when you lodge your request sa DIAC. let's wait for the others to answer your question din at baka mas may maibigay silang detailed na kasagutan.

Form lang po yung nasa site and nakasulat dun yung instructions na i-mail namin by post yung form with the CC details. One time payment lang po siya. Yung #2 question ko po is asking if pwede isabay yung payment form ng CC details sa docs na papa-assess ni hubs or antayin ko muna yung acknowledgement ng AMSA na natanggap nila payment ko before we send the docs for assessment.

Good Day to sa lahat at sa Admin!

Bago lang po ako dito sa forum na to, gusto ko lang mag inquire kasi dun sa General Skilled Migration Skilled Occupation Lists (SOL) meron pang SOL1 at SOL2, ano po ba ang dapat kung sundan dun na list.

Paki guide naman po, BSECE po ako at may license, 9 years na akong working sa Saudi Arabia as Communication Technician pwede ko bang gamitin ang SOL2 kasi nandun ang Communication TEchnician? at ano ba yung nominated ng state or territory Government? Ano po ang uunahin ko ang magpadala ng assessment form sa TRA para sa Telecommunication Technician?

Sana po masagot nyo itong query ko, masyado pa akong nangangapa kasi wala pa akong masyadong alam sa procedures.

@jeffrey_craigslist - merong tinatawag na (IED)initial entry date na kailangan mo macomply, that will be based on the expiration date of your medical/nbi clearance (normally 1 year exp date, which ever is shorter sa nbi/medical).. kaya ang suggestion mostly ay kumuha nag medical/nbi after sabihin ng CO.. to maximize ung time to prepare yourself... kasi dun nga nakabase ang IED... initial entry lang ito.. kaya pwede ka pa bumalik sa pinas or san ka bansa ka galing..ganyan ginawa ng mga ofcmates ko after ma visa grant, punta sa oz for IED, tapos balik sa work ipon ng konti for 1 yr.. then final move na..

but ofcourse, you can do your initial entry tapos hindi na din lumabas, un eh kung ready kana to finally settle (e.g work, bahay, finances)

@lock_code2004 question, pagbalik sa pinas after ng IED sa AU, kelan ka dapat bumalik ulit sa AU? May limit din ba? hehehe

@stolich18 - alam ko 5 years ang validity ng visa... at para maging citizen, you have to be in AU for cumulative 36months/3 yrs..

sa mga experts.. paki validate po kung tama ang sagot ko..

^lock_code2004 this is an important info for me. Thanks a lot! If that were to be true, I have 2 years (after visa has been granted) to decide whether to proceed with the migration or not, correct? :-) So long as may IED na kami. kase yung last 3 years na valid pa ung visa, eto yung important for Citizenship application... I'm just weighing my options kase whether ok to stay here or not given the career opportunities my husband and I have in our current companies. Bka mamya kase magsisihan lang kami na mas ok pala mag-stay sa sobrang taas ng cost of living, tapos mas marami pa pala maiipon dito etc... hehehehe Tapos wala pang yaya ang baby namin pagdating ng AU (300AUD a week ang nanny) so bka isa sa min magstay na lang muna with the baby... hirap magdecide!

Just to answer the questions.

Visa validity is 5 years. If you intend to travel in and out of Australia, you have to get a Resident Return Visa to be able to come back. Possible kasi you might run into some problems validating your permanent status if wala ka nun. Anyway more info sa DIAC site about RRV.
For citizenship, there are certain conditions. You must not be outside Australia for a total of 12 months in the 4 years you are a PR visa holder. And you must not leave Australia for more than 90 days during the year you are applying for citizenship.
