asking for my uncle.

He has a positive assessment equivalent to Bachelor from ACS for ICT Support Engineer but he lacks points because ACS deducted 2 yrs from his work experience. So his agent decided to apply for assessment in TRA under ICT Customer Support hoping for a positive assessment with no deduction in his work. Today he received an email from TRA stating that his qualifications are above trade level and given an act of good faith to withdraw his application and apply for a refund.

I am seeking for advice of which to choose for his application.

a.) Withdraw TRA application and stick with ACS positive assessment even though his points is at 70 pts for visa 489 SA

b.) Continue TRA application and hope for a positive result despite the warning of an above trade level skill

c.) feel free to advice anything that would help him with his application

breakdown of his points is as follows

Age 25

English 10

work experience 10

educ 15 (ACS assessment)

@aranayad what did his migration agent say? The answer is clear, TRA would not offer for him to withdraw his application free of charge if they think it will be successful. His agent should have pointed that out.

@aranayad Nakapagsubmit na ba ng application for state sponsorship ang Uncle mo sa SA? Kung nakasubmit sya nung time na 70 points lang minimum for ICT Support Engineer, antayin na lang nya nomination from SA. Darating yun within the processing time, no need to try to increase his points. Pero kung hindi pa sya nakakasubmit, sad to say closed na to offshore applicants yung occupation na yan in SA. If he wants to increase his points try nya ulit mag PTE for additional 10 points.

@RheaMARN1171933 he had a meeting with his agent today 5pm dubai time. No news yet about what they talked about. I urge him to withdraw his application with tra i hope his agent advice the same.

@maguero unfortunately hindi pa po sya nakapagsubmit. Where can i check po na close yung skill na yun? I just check po kasi sa website ng SA migration its still on the list.

@aranayad You can check sa SA website. Meron nang clauses sa tabi ng occupation that says Not available for high points nomination 17/9/18; Not available for chain migration nomination 17/9/18

Ibig sabihin nagclose na yung occupation for offshore applicants nung September 17.

Option 1 wait for july 2019 changes (i dont like this option for obvious reason na hindi pa sure what will be the changes)

Option 2 study diploma on distant education (this option is alright but the downside is that he needs to pay 6k aud)

Option 3 increase English req to superior (eto lang po ang katanggap-tanggap sa 3 for me)

@NoelRubio you need to pay the fee again, no refund for previous application and if approved the 189 will overwrite the 190... that’s what I got from Googling in other forums

Hi @PinoyMech! Binalikan ko yung files ko pero wala akong sinagutan na Form 1221. Form 80 lang yung meron ako. Nagtingin ako sa ibang forum and mukhang magkasabay nilang pinapasa ung Form 80 and Form 1221 which makes sense kasi supplement yung Form 1221.

Para siguro sure and kung kasama sa mga requirements, mas ok siguro na sagutan mo nalang.
Wala akong sample answers sa 43 and 44 pero kung Migration Visa ung aapplyan mo, sa pagkakaintindi ko sa form, hindi mo na un kailangang sagutan unless student, researcher, academic or fellow ka.

Hello po. Just a question po sana naglodge na po kami ng visa. De facto po kami ng partner ko. My sinubmit po kami na affidavit of acknowledgement of relationship executed by my partner’s mom. Voter’s ID po ng mom niya pinresent namin sa atty and brgy clearance, sinamahan po namin ng brgy clearance to justify ung current number ng bahay nila. iba po kasi number ng bahay nila dati since matagal na un ID. Sa affidavit current number naman po ng bahay nakalagay. Inupload po namin yan sa application. Nagwoworry po kasi ako na baka maconfuse ang case officer. Any recommendations po? Pag di po b nakapag medical si hubby mababalewala po b ung invite? Kasi db po may 60 days lng to submit the application. Si hubby kasi ay Seaman. Schedule po nya bumalik sa barko ng February next year. Pero nirerequest ko po xa mag-stay pa until May kasi bka nga dumating ang invite at need n anjan xa.
