I think mas fair yung bagong changes. pantay na ang points na pwede ma earn ng married applicant with skilled partner and ng single applicant. Right now kasi mas may advantage yung married with skilled partner because of the 5 points for the partner skills. Sa bagong point system both can earn 10 points. Also mas mataas na ang points na pwede ma earn for state nomination from 5 points to 15 points. Kaso not sure lang if tataas din ang minimum points to get invited because of this change.

· First – primary applicants with a skilled spouse or de facto partner

· Equal First – primary applicants without a spouse or de facto partner

· Second – Primary applicants with a spouse or de facto partner who can demonstrate competent English but does not have the skills for skilled partner points (age and skills)

· Third – Primary applicants with a partner who is ineligible for either competent English or Skilled partner points. These applicants will be ranked below all other cohorts, if all other points claims are equal.

@auyeah agree with you. Mukhang maganda na magiging EOI point scores ng mga applicants dito, pero malaking numbers ang nareduce sa Immigration slots for ITA nila.

@n3n_3pqln Haller! this is what we did for our application:

SG Police Clearance> I only got to schedule this after receiving our ITA. Why? kasi you need to upload a proof na need mo talaga ito. So dun mo magagamit si ITA as proof na need mo kumuha ng SG PC. Iaattach mo lang sya when you make an appeal for the SG Police to allow you to get one.

Medicals> When you receive your ITA, it will direct you to create an Immiaccount, dun mo pwede mageneratesi HAP ID na needed to book your appointment. From what we experience, they will only schedule you an appt when you have generated your HAP ID.

And I totally agree with them when they say to prepare all your docs while waiting for your ITA. In that way, pwede mo na agad i-lodge and i- to follow yung SG Clearance and Medicals mo. Ayun. 😉

@Supersaiyan Ang nakikita ko ring difference ng 491 sa 489 is yung time bago makapag-apply for PR. Sa 489 2 years residency and 1 year of full-time work ang kailangan para maka-apply for PR. Sa 491 according to the write-up kailangan na 3 years residency and 3 years of full-time work para maka-apply for PR.

Pero mas fair din yung kapag nabigyan ka na ng regional visa ay hindi ka na pwede mabigyan ng ibang PR visa. Iwas ito sa pagwaste ng 2 skilled visas to the same person and ensures slots are given to other applicants who are waiting.

Hello! I just want to get some feedback lang, I filed my EOI sa skill select June 2018 pa pero wala pa ring any correspondence. 263212 ICT Support engineer with 70 points including SS points. applied for NSW, SA and VIC baka merong ibang nag apply din for the same code any news po? thank you!

It may be because it's not anymore a priority of the state and therefore not in the list anymore.

@Ellabelle Yung sa SA ba nagsubmit ka ng application sa website nila and paid the $200 application fee? Kasi lahat ng applicants binibigyan nila feedback whether successful or not. Kung nagbayad ka you can follow-up the result of your application.

@Ellabelle Sa SA kailangan EOI + submit a sponsorship application in their website + pay application fee. Hindi enough na mag-EOI lang.

@auyeah @joy.0491 thanks po sa insights. Based po sa pagkakaintindi ko mas advantageous sa mag EOI for 491 visa compared kung 190 visa tama po ba? Or 15 points na dn for SS regardless kung 491 or 190 visa? Sorry po mejo di p po masyadong nkapag research. God bless po. 🙂

@maguero salamat po sa insight. Pero mukang madugo yung 491 visa dahil mas mahaba yung waiting time. Hehe. In your opinion po sa upcoming November 2019 points scheme. Same lng po ba iaaward na points for SS regardless kung 491 or 190 ang ina applayan na EOI? Sorry po di pa nkpg research masyado. God bless po. 🙂

I think just the primary applicant po.
