@johnnydapper nag increase ka po ba ng points? Pag napa increase mo points mo, ang date of effect ng EOI ay based dun sa date kung kelan ka nagupdate. Goodluck sa ITA.

Hi @wellac . Just be consistent and submit the IDs na lahat single indicate. The marriage certificate will be your evidence of marital status. I don't expect issue since your maiden name is shown on most - if not all - of your identity documents.

I have a follow up question. Baka someone went through the same process. For the skills assessment, mas nagmamatter ba yung current profession mo than past experiences?

I believe my chances of migrating are better with my previous work and MA units. However they are not my current job/study. And I shifted to a different graduate course

@kiteano all depends. The assessing body and immigration take only into account your work experience in the last 10 years. Essentially, your occupation should be on the list. If you are choosing between 2 occupations from the list, you need to choose the one which will give you more points for work experience. Hope that makes sense.

Ma’am ask ko po regarding ACS, ung iaassess nila ay within 10yrs work experience, i have been working since 2005 till now same line, ibig sabihin po ba hindi nila iaassess ung 2005-2009? They will only assess 2009 to date , and sa loob din ng 10yrs na un sila magbabawas ng yrs? Maraming salamat po!

Assessing authorities base their requirements as per what immigration requires. Hence both would only consider the last 10 years. Unfortunately, it’s highly likely ACS won’t consider your experience from 2005 however, you might as well provide as far back possible as at times ACS could deduct years from betting 10 years experience. Hi, question po dito sa paglodge ng EOI particularly sa section ng "Family Members". Dun sa question na "How many family members?", kasama po ba sa bilang yung husband kahit na sa next question is about client's partner?

Another question po regarding Employment section sa EOI.. Need ba lagyan ng end dates (date to) yung mga previous positions sa company as a result of promotions kahit dun pa din naman currently working ngayon?

Hi, question lang po. I am an internal auditor and my long time girlfriend (5 years) is a Speech Pathologist. We are searching for the best way na magrant kami ng VISA not right now but in the near future.

As an auditor, I need 85+ points to be invited, I think. Dahil sa dami nadin ng supply internal auditors.

So we're thinking na mas okay na si GF ang mag apply tapos de-facto ako. How can I know if mas mababang points need nya? I think speech pathologist na nag aapply are not that many.

Based on my understanding sa picture attached, even lower than 80 have a chance to be invited. Can someone please help me and clarify this? Thank you!

@secretzai right now she’ll need to have st least 80 points to be prioritised for an invite on 189 visa. The thing is 189 Visa isn’t the only type she can apply, there’s 190 which is isn’t subject to points priority and 489 as well. Technically, once one has to get at least 65 points to be eligible to apply for a skilled Visa, the higher it is the sooner you get invited.

It’s hard to plan on these things when you’re not even looking at getting the process started now. Rules keep on changing so by the time you decide to get things underway, new rules would have been implemented already. Hope that makes sense.

Hello again! Need your honest opinion on our qualifications.

Spouse and I are in an in-demand skill for the past 10 years but our bachelor's degrees are really far from our professions. I have an incomplete MA related to my work and Im sure this is going to be disregarded in the skills assessment. My question is, is still worth the risk we apply for skills assessment? Is there a better option for us?

@kiteano hard to provide any feedback as you weren’t specific with your occupations. It all depends on the assessing authority who oversees your occupation
