Guys I need your insights, I received an ITA at SA (489) last week, then yesterday, I found out that I'm pregnant. Ngayon nag dadalawang isip ako if itutuloy ko ang application sa SA or magpataas nalang muna ng points (80 points if superior ang PTE). If abutan ng Nov, ipapa assess si husband sa TRA and mag take ng PTE to claim additional 10 points. Your thoughts?

Hi! Could you enlighten us what's stopping you? I meant, ITA is gold nowadays. Kung pregnancy, is it something related with costs? I am not familiar with the impacts of pregnancy with application, wala naman akong naririnig about that aside sa hindi sila pwedeng mag x-ray during medicals.

Skill assessments are from assigned assessing body ng iyong nominated occupation. I don't think universities can do skills assessment. Are you applying for student visa, maaring ang nakuha mula sa Vic Uni ay certificate of Enrolment (COE) and not skills assessment.

Maari mong gawin ang preliminary point system (age, qualification, english proficiency, work experience, etc) by going through DHA website but maybe good to confirm it with an expert kung eligible ka sa lahat ng claims mo and most especially for peace of mind.

You should carry on with the invite. The visa

processing will just be put on hold until you can supply medical clearance for yourself and baby but that doesn’t matter as long as you’ve lodged your 489 before the invite expires and new legislation takes effect in November. We’ve done a few cases where clients have fallen pregnant, it shouldn’t pose an issue.

@superluckyclover @RheaMARN1171933 I am thinking na madedelay ang application namin because of my current condition. So na isip ko na since matatagalan din naman pwede ko pa pataasin ang points para sa 189 or 190 visa. I honestly don't know what to do.

I think @Dess is quite confused with the process.

@Dess, kung mag-aaral pa lang ang husband mo sa William Angliss or Vic Uni, mukhang you are thinking too many steps ahead. Yung point system papasok if may skills assessment na si Husband.

Pero if ang concern mo is to secure the points while studying, try to take PTE instead of IELTS kung accepted sya ng assessing body mo to get 20 points. May dedicated channel tayo para sa PTE with techniques na malupit para maabot ang superior score! Good luck!

As what @RheaMARN1171933, hindi nakakahandlang sa pag apply ng 489 visa ang pregnancy mo. Kung may ITA ka na, go ahead with the application. It will be a risk if you won't proceed then papataasin mo ang points mo after x months, x years dahil unpredictable ang immigration changes.

Yung 85 pts ba applies to all occupation? Talaga bang mahirap na ma invite mga 70/75 pts nowadays or certain occupation lang?
That’s the trend nowadays so best to focus for 190/489 visas.

Hello po.

Question ko lang, visa is lodged na last April and what if maeexpire yung PCC ng de facto - dependent ko this November, do we need to get another one kahit dependent ko cya? Do CO's usually request for a new one or is this applicable lang sa primary applicant na magrequest sila in case naexpired na sa kakahintay ng grant? Baka may nakaexperience na sa inyo nito, pashare naman po. Thanks.
