Thanks for the advice po. Yes, I have decided to wait it out. It's going to be long (especially na nagexpire na halos lahat ng documents ko) and will have to acquire them again. I called DHA and was advised to wait for a CO contact before getting such documents baka daw kasi ma-expire lang ulit. 🙁

@No_ri_09 Ano po ba ang occupation ninyo? Some skills assessment bodies require some level of English proficiency as part of the assessment process.

After ka maigyan ng invitation to apply, you have 14 days to submit an application. May kailangan na bang iprovide na evidence or requirements sa 14 days na period na to?

**Q: Ano po ibig sabihin nito na linked to another Engg Occupation? Actually nagpa-assess po me as Telco Engineer pero po was assessed as Engg Technologist.. Tama po ba na ang linked Engg Occupation ko po is Telecomms Engineer?

Others like QLD requires bank statement ata.

Question about 189:

I think yung most applicable visa for me is Skilled Independent Visa - 189. Nakita ko rin po yung job ko sa SOL. Points calculator score so far is 65. What is the next step po if ever naverify ko na yung suitable visa for me?

@kjr05 Ano yung occupation mo? You will need positive skills assessment and English exam results to submit an EOI. Kailangan mong icheck yung assessment requirements para sa occupation mo dun sa website ng assessing authority. Very competitive ngayon so I suggest you don't limit yourself to the 189 visa. Iexplore mo lahat ng possibleng skilled immigrant visas including 190 and 491. Tignan mo rin kung paano mo mapapataas ang points mo. Medyo mababa ang 65 points ngayon.

@Bambi14 Kapag nurse na graduate sa Pinas kailangan mag-bridging course or conversion course sa Australia bago makasubmit ng EOI. If hindi pa nagagawa ito, baka yung may IT experience ang mas possibleng makapagsubmit ng EOI.
