Hi! new here  may tanong lang po ako, yung asawa ko ay civil engineering graduate pero hindi siya nag trabaho as an engineer, naging professional football player siya sa pilipinas as his job. Both engineer and footballer ay nasa SOL, pero san siya mag assess? sa engineering or yung sa football? Ako po yung main applicant as a preschool teacher. Thank you in advance
It all depends which one he’d be qualified for. Check both skills assessing authority’s requirements.
Hi! Actually, he qualifies for both. Which is why I'm not sure which he should have assessed. He has a bachelors degree in Civil Eng (no work experience) and he has 5 years working as a professional football player. So I'm just a bit confused, which assessment we should go for... Maybe we should lean towards the football player as he has work experience there vs. his bachelors degree. Luckily both are under MLTSSL, similar to early childhood educator.
Thank you though!
He will be required to show formal qualification related to footballer of at least AQF certificate level apart from work experience. His engineering degree won’t suffice. Unless he’s got something related to his profession, he won’t meet the skills assessment requirement. Need to be careful. Good luck.
Yes, he has employments certificates from his football club, the Philippine Team as well as GAB (Gaming and Amusement Board) registration here in the Philippines.
I got this from the ANZSCO
**452411 FOOTBALLER
Plays football professionally in competitions. This occupation requires high levels of physical fitness, sporting ability and personal commitment as well as, or in place of, formal qualifications or experience. Registration or licensing is required.
Skill Level: 3**
So I'm guessing this would be the better and safer route to take. Thank you!
