As my comments before this, u can use your current passport to lodged on your application. Then update application to upload your new passport. If gusto mong ichange yung name mo to married name, iba ata ang button na pipindutin dun. Update passport with change name or something. Hndi ko pa to natatry. Kasi same name lang yung nirenew kong passport, pero nakita ko yung option na yun while changing mine.

Parang gusto ko na nga lang magstick muna sa maiden name ko for passport renewal. Pero I’ll wait for others’ insight baka may same situation nung sakin. Thank you po.

Just curious, if I retake the IELTS General and get a superior score, will they counter it or say its invalid with my IELTS Academic which is required for AITSL (Teachers Skills Assessment) which I missed the superior mark by 0.5. > @RheaMARN1171933 said:

No it won’t be. The academic test was meant for AITSL Assessment only and not fir claiming points. Hence you can use the general one for migration purposes.

You can’t submit an EOI without your skills assessed. I would suggest to focus on the skills assessment before anything else.

Manghihingi po sana ako ng payo or opinion.

I had different job titles in my COE and Employment Reference, same employer.

When I applied for graduate visa, my COE stated na ang job title ko is Administrative and Accounting Assistant, yung COE po na sinubmit ko at that time walang list of duties.

Now I am applying for another visa, my Employment Reference states na ang job title ko is Assistant Accountant and it provided a list of my duties, I had this experience and job title assessed na with CPAA.

I am a bit worried na it might complicate things, dahil magkaiba ang job title ko. Will this affect my new visa application?

english requirement sa assessing authority can be different sa englist test mo sa visa app

@sarahgon You can't apply for any skilled immigrant visa unless you're invited by DHA (189) or nominated by a state (190, 491).

You might be able to nominate either Advertising Specialist or Marketing Specialist. Both are only eligible for state sponsored visas, so either 190 or 491. The occupation you will decide to nominate is very important because it will determine which states you can apply for sponsorship. Given your years of experience and the fact that Vetassess deducts at least 1 year of work experience, I think you'll get the same points for work experience regardless of whichever of the 2 occupations you decide on. Although if you continue on your current job and nominate the related occupation, you will eventually get additional points once you reach 5 years of recognized work experience.

I was able to get a 489 visa sponsored by SA. 489 is no longer offered and has been replaced by 491. Don't limit yourself to a 190 visa. Just apply for whichever ones you're eligible for. It's hard enough to get invited as it is.

I didnt know na kailangan pala ng proof of income from the previous companies na pinasukan mo. I just called company A where i was hired from November 2012 to February 2014, they told me they cant provide me with payslips and ITR since 5yrs lang ang safe keeping nila. Is there any way na matrieve ko po ang ITR ko? Tho I already secured my SSS and Philhealth nandun makikita naman po yung contribution from the company.

Thanks again @maguero , this is very insightful! One last question though. It says on the immi site that the passing mark is 65. Is it true these days that the only ones getting invited are the ones who reached 90 points?
